Doublepost, but this time it's actually related to cartoons. I was on YouTube and got recommended a video about Planetronika:

It's some kind of conservative who's mad that "liberals" don't like how horny the pilot is. He's accusing them of being hypocrites who like gay relationships in shows and not straight ones, and saying they're trying to take all the redheads away? I'm gonna be real here, I'm not watching thirty minutes of "actually it's moral and good to have ass-centric shots in a cartoon kids might watch so they grow up straight." Dude looks like a faggot despite having talked about the culture war for years. He's probably always on the opposition regardless on if something's good or not.

Anyhoo I mentioned it in the cartoon industry thread that while the character design makes me think of 2000s animation like Winx Club and Ben10, the sound design is just horrendous (my husband was watching it while we were in the car because the Y2K topic came up, so that's my only exposure to the pilot). I have no interest in watching it after that, and the creator has been blocking people for being critical about the short or even calling him out for it giving off porn vibes.

The first time I watched it, I was so bored I started doing other things while it played, and every time I looked back at it Butterfly was doing something like spanking her own ass, shaking her ass, had her ass up and face down...I even got armpit fetish vibes. The arguments against that are so irritating, it's either "omg you're such a prude, attractive female characters are NOT inappropriate" or "omg you're such a gooner, not everything is pornography!" I CAN'T BE BOTH PRUDE AND A GOONER, clearly there's an issue, otherwise people wouldn't be talking about it. It's clearly too much fanservice and not enough plot in one animated short.

It was at 65 just two days after the pilot dropped, now it's over double that. I know Rule 34 is what it is, but come on. If there wasn't something there, it wouldn't be rising so fast.

More like parents need to step in and supervise what their children are consuming on the Internet and on TV. From what I can tell, Planetronika isn't supposed to be for kids to begin with, but children are watching adult animation online because their cartoons right now are already written like they're for (childless) adults and suck just as much ass. And if a streaming site isn't showing older cartoons to balance it out, the kids truly don't know better.

If you think planetronika's rising porn art is bad, just see fucking gameoverse and its 1512 amount of porn, and it's only been out for 4 fucking days.

What's worse is that if people bring up that the artstyle for gameoverse is goonbait: suddenly the person saying it is the porn-brained one for thinking that. Nigger the characters were re-designed by a pin-up artist, in what fucking world does that give you the right to say "oh this is fine"
