Well I did hear being hateful and hostile can be bad for your health. Perhaps all that hatred Phelps has is now coming to fruition, bringing him closer to Death's doors.

Nate and his other estranged son say that he's in hospice care and that he's been excommunicated from the church.

The hospice care I can believe but I'm going to take the excommunication with a grain of salt.
 
I love their spokespersons response when asked to comment on the matter.
“We don't owe any talk to you about that," "We don't discuss our internal church dealings with anybody. It's only because of his notoriety that you are asking."
So they feel it's fine to press their fucked up agenda onto others, yet they get all pissy when people intrude on their affairs?

If the WBC collapses after Phelps dies, whoever gets his body has a great moneymaking opportunity with it. Stick the old bastard in a grave somewhere and charge people 10$ to pee on it. They'll make a goddamn mint.

It could make sense that Phelps might be a closet homosexual or something like that. Also means some will picket his funeral though I think the question for that is if it's "God Hates Phelps".
 
Actually, the whole "God hates fags" is just for money.
originally, they protested against gays having pride parades in areas where children would be, this angered alot of liberals so good ol' phelps found profit in this, so he and his Lawyer movement would go on and put the first amendment to the test and sue anyone who attack him.
basically, Phelps is the greatest trickster of all time and anyone who hates him or wishes him dead all fell fr his prank.

on anther note, if you hate phelps, you hate Civil rights.
Phelps was an activist for Black Civil rights back in the 60's and gought against Jim Crow laws.
