On social media whenever some MAGA cultist accuses me of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS), I simply reply with this image. Works like a charm.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is a misnomer. It’s not “derangement”. It’s “astonishment”, that millions of Americans could be so gullible as to actually believe words coming out of the mouth of the most widely known pathological liar on earth. Absolutely astonishing!
Let’s face facts: Trump’s superpoweris his spectacular ability to constantly lie in ways that his cultists WANT to believe. They lack the critical thinking skills to check veracity. If they WANT to believe something, then they will. Facts be damned. Trump knows that, and he exploits it constantly. He doesn’t even bother to remember his lies, because his cultists never question any telltale inconsistencies. They just keep believing his latest lies. Absolutely astonishing!
If pathological lying is Trump’s superpower, then his kryptonite is any court of law, where lies are simply not tolerated. The result: 34 felony convictions SO FAR. More to come, but ONLY if he loses the election. He’s either headed to the White House or to the “big house”. Pray — and work — to make it the latter.
The MAGA cult’s gullibility is what Trump has exquisitely weaponized. He has zero power by himself. It’s their gullibility that is the enormous Billy club he wields. And with that Billy club, he’s all set to smash our democracy if given another chance, and this time without any guardrails, as all his guardrails from the last term have denounced him as “fascist to the core”.
