Wells Fargo suffers widespread outage of ATMs, mobile banking capabilities

Customers of Wells Fargo Opens a New Window. on Thursday reported an outage affecting the big bank's ATMs as well as online and mobile banking Opens a New Window. .

KULR-TV in Montana is reporting that a bank employee said the outage is a result of a fire at a server farm located in Shoreview, Minnesota. As a result of the fire the servers had to be shut down, the bank employee reportedly said.

Customers who have tried to access Wells Fargo online get a message about technical issues.

Wells Fargo issued a public statement, apologizing for the glitch.

"We’re experiencing a systems issue that is causing intermittent outages, and we’re working to restore services as soon as possible," the bank said in a statement. "We apologize for the inconvenience."

Some customers are also reporting the issue is impacting ATMs and credit cards.

Wells Fargo did not immediately respond to FOX Business' request for additional details.

The only reason these places are even in business is because people will talk big game and complain about service, but when the times comes to actually do something about it they lie down and take it.

All banks are shitty though. You're just bending over for some other faggot to fuck you in the ass, instead of WF. One would've thought they would've had a failover system set up somewhere else, but I guess they probably outsourced all their technical talent and assumed street shitters could handle it all.
 
Can’t say as that I’ve ever had a single issue with Wells Fargo in the five years I’ve done business with them.
 
I dunno man. If you keep your money in a bank that is so poorly run that they managed to go bankrupt as A BANK and needed to be bailed out by the government... maybe you just don't really like your money that much?
 
I got a nice bank. Good customer service, no charges...they even contact me at the slightest usage of my card that seems off.
