I know I don’t shut the fuck up about OHP but my strength has tanked since I started bench pressing again which I haven’t done since last February. It’s fine though, it’s cool to get some juicy pecs again and I’m sure I’ll adjust. Progressing fast, can hit 240lb for 3x10 already.
 

It doesn't take a scientist to logically figure out what I'm saying: The more you put in, the more you get out. So stop making excuses, get out there, and do whatever it takes to reach your goals. Jesus Christ. ✝️;)
 
I'm getting more hungry, eating more food. I think it's justified considering my training intensity. My weight has stayed the exact same for months. I think my body is telling me to eat more to grow, but maybe it's just habituation of eating larger meals over the past couple years.
 
I've really stalled out on Lateral Pulldowns for some reason.

Everything else has advanced more or less in line with the usual wisdom; it's been three months since I started all this and the weight of my other exercises have all gone up 30-50%. But the lat pulldown? Just an extra 15 lbs. I don't think I could even claim those pounds because my form was wrong at first and the bump came within the first week of doing it correctly. What do? Twice a week 3x10 isn't cutting it.
 
Anyway, while some of you can't stop projecting your sexual fantasies onto others, I'm here to tell you all that zercher stuff is fucking awesome. Zercher squats, zercher shrugs, zercher carries. Add them in somewhere.
I do zercher squats once every 2-3 weeks. I prioritize front and back squats
 
Now while a quarter squat isn't anything new to write about this late into the new years resolutioners, I don't think I have ever seen a quarter squat that involved no lower body. Dude worked his way up to 165 (easily more than his body weight) stuck his ass out, and the second his knees started to bend, he came back up
 
I feel like an idiot. I usually dread my trap bar shrugs because setting up a bunch of 45s is annoying because this trap bar doesn't jack up. Don't know why it never occurred to me I could just do this until literally right now lmao.

I did that until my trap bar ran out of space because of the short sleeves. Then I started doing this:
