If you're new to lifting I recommend doing a warmup set for every lift just to make sure you've got the form + recruitment down, to avoid injury. Honestly I recommend it for anybody regardless of experience level but I'm not your dad.
I absolutely 110% endorse this, I still do a nice little baby set with just the bar for all the big compound lifts just so I can remember the form and finalize how I want to move

45 pounds is plenty to do so and it might alert you to a potential injury if something hurts a bunch when you go through the motion

There’s just no reason to rush shit or be reckless 🤷‍♂️

I like the exhibitionist woman at the gym. Makes you want to do decent form and lift harder even though you know she doesn't care. People complaining about them are secretly gay. Don't worry, you're amongst friends and we will not tell anyone.

Plenty of fat people today, hence the steam room being so uncomfortable, but good on them. If they stick around after February they'll be less fat. If they stick around 12 months there will be more money to upgrade equipment.
Not gay, they just internalise some perceived rejection, sour grapes if you will, a lot of projection by men going on in gyms related to what women wear. I'd be all for them training topless, in fact I think that would be great if they were naked at all times. I would ask if I could have a good smell of their armpits and cunt... I'm pretty sure my 1rm would be a little bit higher from that. That's the real 'guy heaven' gym, who needs smelling salts if you've got that.

Lower back had been sore for two weeks so I've been either avoiding doing any lower back straining lifts or doing them very lightly. Finally got annoyed at it not getting any better and just did some heavy RDLs and my back fixed itself the next day.

Might be blasphemy, but the time to use the weight machines? You can target muscle groups that don't fuck your back?

Form > consistency > numbers.
I say consistency > all. Make a realistic plan, stick to it, adjust as you go, but never break the habit. Things like proper form and a good progression should not be a concern until the consistency of working out has been set in motion for a good long time.

If you're not consistent you won't make progress but you won't get hurt either. If you neglect form you won't make progress because you'll get hurt.

It's not divine metaphysics.

The easiest way to warm up is 10 reps of baby weight, then 5 reps with 50% of the weight, then 2 reps with 75%, 1 rep with 110%, and then do your sets, additional exercises of the same muscle group don't need a warm up, and if you are doing higher reps (for example 25 reps for your first set) then you can do with less warm ups than that.

where they're wearing some weird boxer-looking shorts that really accentuates their bulge.
I spent some time around Europe and... well this is a while ago (pre-Muslim invasion), but they were just generally more sexually aggressive about everything. Every country except England. Central Europe I'd be waiting for a bus and PDA wasn't just smooching - the dude would have his hand reaching all the way down the girl's butt and back up into her crotch. Italy if the women weren't escorted every dude would be trying his luck. In Sweden if a girl fancies you she just walks up and says 'I wonder what your cock looks like.' The movies are much the same, lots of stuff that Americans would consider pornography.

But then again, the general downfall of modesty is a recent invention. I'm a modesty enjoyer so it's usually the girls in sweatpants that I fancy the most. Which is real catch .22 since that typically means they're actually there to work out, not to flirt.

I have a business proposition for you:

Reminds me of that monastery where the door to the mess hall is deliberately narrow so fatties have to fast and slim down before they can go back to eating.

I would join the Muscle Monastery.

Finally got my experience with the resolutioners. One dude benching 135 with one side way stronger than another, one guy curling 45 pound dumbbells with his shoulders and lower back, and a dude half repping 135 back squats

Direct from China if you want the best prices. Glp1 forum has a vendor section. Do all your research and join a testing group. You're definitely gambling a bit with your health with any research chemicals so be aware.
Do you mind if I DM you with more specific questions? Not going to spam you asking about every peptide out there but more regarding storage and actually taking them and such.

My gym isn’t a chain gym so I don’t see as much egregious behavior, but there were a couple of kids with a full on camcorder and tripod set up recording each other doing lat pull downs with like 90 or 100 pounds.

Been working on my form with dumbbell raises, doing slow and deliberate reps with baby weights for 20 reps minimum, and it feels so fucking good. Amazing pump.
