Anyone know a good way to keep rust off of their fucking weights? Every 6 months I scrub off any rust bits an spray it with rust-oleum. I also keep a mid-sized dehumidifier in my garage but pesky little rust spots keep appearing, mainly on my 45 pound weights and my Olympic bar. Anyone had success in this area?

I routinely lather my weights and myself in baby oil. I don't have any issues with rust.

Squeezing the grips like they have wronged me and I am able to do incline press first time in long time. Pretty much no pain.
Wonder if my shoulder will kick my ass later today.

Without using half of the power on grip, ain't happening.

**Aand min after sets I think I am getting my ass beat. Well no pain, no greater pain when elderly.

I do. I have hands like a princess. A trans princess that works on a building site.
If you're a 6'5", Black as Hell Brazilian who calls himself "Fernanda", I think I've seen you.

Regarding mixing protein shakes: if you want good flavour and consistency but don't want the carbs (lactose) in milk, use water and heavy cream. You still get the flavour of a creamy shake but without all that lactose.
Possibly this would work for the lactose intolerant, too, but I'm White so I don't know. Or care.

It's been a little while, hit 485 deadlift a while back and just got done squeezing out a squat for the same number. Feels pretty good slapping those reds on the bar and just ripping it.

Will probably do 500 come back day. Coach has been talking me into getting into a comp, so I'll see how that goes.

I wish my fellow Kiwis many a PR and immaculate joint health :)

You need to be sure to alternate your arms on different days. Great for grips, wrist, and forearm strength.

Tell me one gay thing about doing squats naked in front of the mirror while my buddy who is also naked spots me as I am covered in body oil.

That's roman alpha shit.

I know this is basic advice but a lot of ppl who lift seem to Just not think of it so I’ll throw it out there. Buy an ice gel pack and put it on your shoulder for 10-15 minutes after your workout. (Not direct contact with skin, the freezing will cause your body to heat the area and make inflammation worse, wear a t-shirt and put the ice pack over that)My shoulder is surgically repaired and I had all kinds of problems with pain and swelling Until I started doing this. I’ve had a few friends/family who delt with joint pain but their issues improved once they listened to me. (If you’re already icing than idk and sorry for wasting your time)
