It missed its chance before Netflix decided it wanted to join in the fray, but it was never going to air on television anywhere ever without some changes. And OVAs are for side-stories and hentai nowadays, so no point in making an OVA series out of it. Sad, really.

Ask his long lost "brother" who definitely isn't him and is definitely just an identical twin with his singing prowess who now sings country gospel rather than an aged Elvis who regrets faking his own death to get out of the spotlight and can't come forward about it because it would implicate his estate and at the very least take away the money they're currently getting from him being dead.

I'm just saying. His long lost singing twin who's just like him in every other way probably would also share his taste in animation.

Yup, hope they make a good work with it, didn't like how they closed up the original anime, same with the manga that at least was finished years later.
