Consider that across the forums there are multiple warnings to members to conceal their identity. For KFers, anonymity isn’t a choice but a necessity — they know what they’re doing is probably illegal, and that their anonymity insulates them from any consequences. They know their “entertainment” harms vulnerable people, which is why some of them felt bad when that one target hanged herself. But, most important, they know that if their anonymity were compromised, their own community might eat them alive.

Some of the old Chris trolls post pretty often. our own Introman is a famous ADF and friends troll.
 
The article fails to mention Chris previously identified as CIS male, spinning it we troll him because of sexual orientation rather than him being "provoked" by petty ridicule, which manifested itself into his comics and personal life.

Most celebrities understand that gossip and mean jokes are part of the price you pay for fame. Lolcows and their asspatters assume that posting about their (scat fetish, drama, etc) on Facebook will never, ever come back to bite them.
 
To stalk someone, you have to invade their privacy! The internet is very much a public space where almost nothing is safe unless it is set to private and even then, you may still be exposed. So, is kiwi farms the Gawker of the internet now? This site is just extraction, commentary.

So, it is now illegal to make jokes about stupid people doing stupid things....From my point of view, my anonymity is important because I have self-awareness, and I am not stupid enough to treat random strangers like a Catholic confessional.
