Replaying Ghost of Tsuhima NG+ after getting a Platinum on it. Cutting up Mongols is still fun after all this time.

Really? This is what comes up when you enter "Aiden Pearce iconic" on Google. The coat is snazzy though ngl

Shit, I mean, I'll accept us both being right.

The criss-cross on the back (it's mostly the same pattern on the hat/bandana, right?) was something they were very proud of.

And the comfy environment, ubi actually made Chicago comfy. Very impressive!

this, it wasn't the best game or most pretty, but they got the atmosphere right. shame they never remastered it to not run like ass.

As for the one coming out this week. I 100% believe theyre bullshiting us somehow. At the very least theyre going to restrict so that only certain characters can or cant do missions. Or you can only recruit certain characters post-story or some dumb shit like that. You wont be able to do an all granny run until new game+

I expect it to be absolute shit, because it started out as MUH BREXIT wank, when that fell through they thought they were clever doubling down on the "fight the powa!" spiel with every company jerking themselves over BLM and the riots, when that got pushback because normalfags never liked that shit to begin with (and even the biggest woketard knows london is one of the last places on earth to turn into an "alt right dystopia") they scrambled how they could salvage it, cue "wacky protagonists fighting the powa!". only thing's missing is fortnite graphics, but they probably ran out of time and money.

it's a product of a dev team crawling way too far up it's own ass, it will probably have more in common with battlefield V in critical and commercial acclaim than watchdogs 2. it's hilarious really, after 2019 they're in desperate need of a successful game, instead we get this. but with them turning into hollywood: the game company where they have to whore out all their old and somewhat beloved characters to boost crap games it was to be expected.

Any good deals?

uplay (because fuck epic), they got a 20% voucher for their loyalty currency (although they're turning it into some zoomer social network shit "ubi connect" thing where they disable it for almost all their games).
if you can wait a bit you can probably get an uplay key for quite cheap once the game bombs, maybe even some good ps4 deals when stores want to get rid of inventory.

for pc in general just check isthereanydeal

I sort of like Watch Dogs 1, it had some really good moments gameplay wise here and there with ideas that really clicked and they should have built upon that instead of the more generic parts. When the more subtle car chase hacking things worked out it was really cool, blowing up pipes and flipping cars felt like a crappy Split/Second clone. Making it a non-lethal hacker GTA would have been fun.

Planning, subtle actions and subterfuge should have been the cornerstones. Sometimes it was.

Getting pretty mediocre reviews so far. A bit surprising as I thought they'd be tripping over themselves to suck its cock considering the subject matter.

About the only thing, I found fun in the 2nd game was the invasion system. Most people have zero creativity with the game mechanics so you can normally find them easy as fuck. What I'd always do is park somewhere and then use the drone to harras them with the control car hacks. Most players were so dumb that you could just pick a random car and keep hacking it to move forward which would cause them to chase after it shooting until the cops got called on them.

I've mostly seen 8's

Eh. Its still looking fun. I enjoyed the first game despite the reviews. Hell I enjoyed the Mirrors Edge sequel and that was considered dog shit.

Man, I remember Catalyst being announced and I was so happy but to this day I've still not played it. It didn't need a reboot and I'm not sure why they felt it did. On topic, I've seen mixed things mostly going by the metacritic. Hopefully people are just exaggerating their frustration with the typical Ubisoft design philosophies.

Reviews are subjective. I had plenty of fun with Watch Dogs 1 and 2 despite their lukewarm reception. If the story is cringe as fuck but the gameplay is enjoyable, which was certainly the case with 2, I just abuse the sandbox and disregard the narrative.

Edit: also, if you’re looking at metacritic scores, be sure to check out the outlets that give the game drastically lesser reception than others. With Cyberpunk 2077 being delayed, this puts a lot more eyes on Legion, and less-than reputable sites will definitely cobble up a word salad in order to net themselves that sweet, sweet ad revenue.

"the issue occurs around 6-8 hours into the main campaign," - similar to Prince of Persia 2: Goth & Titties, that just corrupted the save file though and patching console games weren't a thing.

How the hell do you even manage to do that?! I thought games on the Xbone were running on top of a hypervisor to prevent shit like this.

it's a safety feature. trying to run the latest unoptimized AAA game on years old hardware that was already outdated at release with the mandate it has to look as good as the flagship version does that.
when shit gets too hot the console shuts down, highly doubt microsoft wants to spend another billion+ on another red ring debacle.

just wish normalfags and retarded journos would stop calling everything a fucking brick.
