Looks like one of those saccharine sweet shoestring budget Hallmark movies geriatric boomers love. Really not surprised it’s garbage.

The dolomite movie he starred in was alright, even though they put petey wheatstraw scenes in it, but yeah expecting an Eddie Murphy amazon Christmas movie to be good is like expecting a bowl of shit to smell nice
Apperatetly it was directed by Reginald hudlin who's only claim to fame seems to be making house party and being a producer on boondocks, every thing else seems to be producing black tripe and sometimes directing single episodes of shitty sitcoms
