Maybe my friends thought the "bro" part was weird though cause I'm definitely one of those "girly men" who hangs out with mostly women, does art, sucks at basketball, and has kind of a lisp. Despite my hard working, dirty shoes and possible bravery, I'm probably not much of a bro. But if a bro means like "tries to be honest and respectful" then yes. But I don't have like, muscles, or hang out with all dudes, or that kind of thing.

Here is a bit of advice Warren. I know you shun bro stuff, but at your age you should really think about building some muscle, not for aesthetic reasons, but because with age you (like everyone else) will gradually lose your muscles, and without any workout you will end up frail and life will be much harder for ya.

@W person cow - Why don't you want to be my friend anymore?

If I treated you like shit and made you do all my work for half the change I find in my couch, only to fire you if I think you might have a chance of learning the truth about me, will that get you to respect me?

Huh? Who has time for "friendships" with anonymous internet people? I got enough people trying to force me to have "coffee summits" with people in Malden already. People like drink a beer to settle their differences. But I don't drink, so they buy me a coffee. But then the coffee makes me angry, and I yell at them. Diplomacy in action!

I can't see why anyone is rooting for @W person cow
He's weaselly, avoided addressing decently-phrased criticism, is willing to throw actual progressives under the bus for candidates who loudly pay lip service but ultimately do nothing (and knows that's what they are), goaded people into doing things so that he could complain about them on social media and is a brony.

I hope his dealer sells him PCP-laced weed and he get shot by a cop and the whole thing gets associated with Wu's campaign.

Hey, I don't know that there's much rooting for him, but he came here and addressed people, answered some questions, and didn't just block everyone. It's an interesting view into the mind of someone who works on campaigns. If a lot of other campaign workers think similarly, it would explain a lot!

I hope his weed is the finest, and next time he's stoned he gives this whole progressive lip service thing some real deep thought.

I like Warren; and I also like that he's come here and engaged, sort of, even if in a weaselly manner. I don't want him shot by the cops, but I wish he'd get his head out of his ass by critically examining his own and others' actions (rather than their words). I also wish he'd get off the "trolling" thing, as he is quite bad at it and it is coming off as childish. Hint, Warren: No one actually wants a child running their government (if you think they do, you should examine your feelings about the president). This is why Brianna will lose, among other reasons (her laziness, stupidity, and disingenuousness being three key factors as well).

Things you have going for you: You seem to genuinely care about the people of Malden. You are energetic and have ideas and thoughts about the way to help them. You are likeable. You have some experience now. You should use these traits for good, instead of evil.

Ahh he's not a bad dude, he's just a giant goofy moron. I'm kind of reminded of OPL in a way. Not evil, just very, very dim.
Yes, he's childishly naive, but what do want? He's not terribly bright and he seems like he's kind of a sucker, but he's a good enough bro. He sticks to his beliefs, misguided and ill informed as they may be, and that's laudable.

You should try beer. You can't hate someone over a beer.

So have you any thoughts to what Wu will do after the campaign washes out? There's discussion about her trying to get back into tech, but she's burned most of her bridges there. Any thoughts?

High functioning OPL, certainly. Good call.

Personally, I judge his posting here on the spectrum of previous verified banners that post in their threads. He's on the good side of that particular spectrum, pretty easily right now, so I don't quibble with the details of why he doesn't post exactly what others want when prodded to in here, he's under zero obligation to do so at all, after all, and I'm not naive enough to feel entitled to anything from his behalf on that front.

I am curious if he has some ideas on what, if anything, he could or would reach across the local political aisle to work on in order to help improve Malden services or quality of life for his fellow citizens if in a position to do so but won't be shocked if he hasn't game theorized that out yet, at least at this juncture...

I do nothing but reach across the aisle. I just fight really hard on the issues. But then make friends again. Malden doesn't really have an aisle per se. It's Democrats vs other Democrats mainly. And Independents.
My main allies so far (in order):
-the young Libertarians, which many of my progressive friends think are evil right wingers
-the other progressives, which many of my libertarian friends think are evil communists
-the "Kennedy Grandmas"
-the local media (omg they love me)
-the State Committee
-the centrist independents (most of Malden)
-the unions
-the mayor

Main enemies:
-both disgraced former City Councillors which I got replaced
-the only Republican left on the council
-people who want "good manners" and "civility"
-this one corporate independent that my girlfriend calls Littlefinger, after the Game of Thrones guy
-other progressives who think my antics are "immature" and that I make them look bad

Neutral at the moment:
-the Democrat establishment

Glad to see Warren is moving onto future endeavours and I hope him the best. He genuinely seems he works hard but his biggest downfall was always being too kind and accepting.

Godspeed Warren, you've got my support.

The sex must be fucking insane

Funny, because everybody in Malden says I am too MEAN and VICIOUS :)
After City Council today, Moratorium Matheson made a beeline for my girlfriend and me and said literally:
"WHY DON'T YOU LIKE MEEEEEE?"
I have a tiny violin for him :)

This might have something to do with it.
Haha I agree. The audience likes it when I get in brawls though, and the citizens. The voters, and the newspaper readers.
The Planning Board HATES me though. The Chairman assaulted me right in the middle of the Senior Center when I first met him.
But last Tuesday he called on me to speak, so maybe we are friends now, lol.

OMG that one's a story. Stephen Lynch only made me so mad that I called him a murderer, but the head of the Planning Board got me calling him "a wet sack of shit that sucks disease out of Neil Kinnon's ass hole". I had to go outside and calm down for a minute. But all these sweet old ladies thanked me, lol. It's weird to be thanked for losing one's temper.

I'm writing recaps of the night's events. I followed this message board's advice and reached out to the other side. But my girlfriend didn't. She started kind of like a mob riot. But that ended up working in our favor in the end, because Malden officials hate conflict and love to back down. Probably because us Malden citizens kinda LOVE conflict, and the councillors go "oh no, here we go again!" Especially when they see Stee. She got like a whole crowd of people heckling the Councillors. Especially this one Reefer Madness lady. She was like "WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"
Meanwhile I get to come off like the "reasonable guy" compared to my girlfriend whipping up angry citizens to make memes and whisper jokes and make people look like fools on television.
But I'm not. I'm not a very reasonable guy.
But the Council smelled which way the wind is blowing last night, and they all voted against Reefer Madness Lady 9-2. Things are looking well :)
