I have heard a lot of comments on here about how Brianna secretly hates me and won't admit it. If anybody would like to elaborate on that while I'm getting coffee, I would appreciate it. Why would she hate me, and why would she not admit it?

Brianna only cares about himself. He has a long ( documented ) history of this which we've been bringing up over and over. The actions and the way he talks establish this pattern. Others can bring those back up again, but I'm going to focus on you here.
A common thing with Brianna Wu is that her entire life and credentials, and thus authority to speak on a topic and her opinion matter, are all based in fiction. "Investigative Journalist" when she wants to talk about journalism, "As a software engineer" when she wants to mention any technology, "As a woman [my whole life]" when she wants to score points on top of women's issues. "As a college graduate", you get the picture. All lies.
But feeling important and influential ( aka being an egomaniac and a narcissist ) is John's whole game -- his reason for getting up in the morning is for other people to see him as some sort of hero standing up against an unfair system; standing on the side of "The People." Not about the people themselves, he doesn't care about them or how life is or changes for them, she cares how much those people
worship her.
Her points always conflict themselves and change depending on the audience, it isn't the content that matters, it's that Brianna Wu has been a fuckup his entire life and since "Gamergate" for some reason people started paying attention to him. He completely took over and false-flagged himself (again, all documeted on the lolcow wiki), all to garner as much attention as possible.
Even though Wu wasn't a "real" game developer, and wasn't involved in Chelsea's "Five guys," she still rose to power in that because she bribed/blackmaield people into giving her shit game "iOS Game of the year award" . This despite the fact that Rev60 was a complete flop and 0/10 and years late and unbeatable because of a bug. But because this was brought up she could take over the whole Gamergate and gain followers and start collecting Patreon bux.
A lot of folks around here had the theory that she wanted her campaign to fail as quick as possible. She didn't want to gather the number of signatures (that's why she only hired YOU for the longest time to gather them yourself), because she wanted to fail and blame somebody else for why she wasn't even allowed to run, even though she has "all the progressive views" (but no plans).
This would have given her more power, another one-sided attention whoring by her in the media, and even more people to pretend about her.
What you did is you went out there and actually did a good fucking job. The fact that you even got 100 signatures for a nobody like Wu with an easily verifiable scammy history, the fact that you went to all the local events and talked all about her.... you set the stage that she couldn't have her "reeeee gamergate wouldn't even let me on the ballet" moment. Instead of what she thought was going to be another lifelong of fame and influence over a short amount of just tweeting political things started garnering attention.
Suddenly, because of your efforts toward legitimizing her scampaign, she HAD to run. Failing would have shown her to be a failure and not spun like the "goobergate" epic. Since Brianna hates doing any work, and has to actually start putting effort into this, and has lost sight of her easy blame-and-shame-swap (of which you were likely going to be one of the scapegoats), she may very well hate you.
