wu's a known racist, homophobe, con-artist, liar, fraud, thieving capitalist. the cruel or hateful attitudes of a few of the people watching wu and the admittedly slightly sad or strange impulse to document and discuss the insanity doesn't make any of the information documented less true.
It should be a serious red flag that the thing she's best at, campaign-wise, is tossing off tweets copping the practiced and manipulative language of self-aggrandizing mainstream politicians. 'As a software developer, as a cybersecurity expert, as a seasoned business woman, I don't just believe that problems are problematic. I believe real-world solutions are vital to solving problems. As a nation, we must do better. When I'm your congresswoman, I will do better."
Working hard, being a good manager, being genuinely charitable with their money or time, building actual political organizations or grassroots support- the substantive work that demonstrates someone is really compassionate and worthwhile as a politician, Wu embodies literally none of it. At the very least, I hope it's fun riding around in the porsche.

Talking over Warren's head, it really seems like a mix of underdog complex, taking the punk rock working poor persona too seriously, plus the straight up financial need for a job/campaign experience and the additional strange personal vendetta against a fellow Lynch, renders Warren incapable of accepting what he probably knows on some level is true.

Allow me to explain something to you. When you're allowed to write your own backstory, write your own Wikipedia article, and invent your own qualifications, every interview is a fluff interview. Can you name one time an interviewer anywhere has done the research to verify any factual claim your boss has made about his background? You know, the background that your own campaign claims makes your candidate not only qualified, but uniquely qualified for office?

I'd have to move him back down by at least a point on my personal level of respect if he just outright knives John Flynt and Frank Wu politically, to be fair. Also you have to remember, there's a large swath of who keeps up with this sub-forum that wants the Wu for Congress campaign to at least get onto the November ballot if not outright win the whole marble shoot, so they'd be pissed if all the wake-Warren-up posts actually did move him. So that's a W to them, not a L, as this thread audience isn't a monolithic collective. Then you have to add in the fact that Warren's not naive, goofy true believer, sure, but not naive. I imagine he's having some fun with us too sticking to his campaign line even if he might be eying his exit strategy from the campaign a little more fervently after getting Jamias-posted out of the clouds he was getting blinded by traveling to this point...

I went to the Star Wars one. Y'all are mistaking "new at campaigning" for "evil". And I think y'all or other folks like to ambush Brianna a lot with Alex Jones/Geraldo Rivera style methods, and then when she has a stressed out reaction, make fun of it...Folks here might be the "harmless" kind of trolls (or 'archiving gnomes' or whatever), but Milo Yiannopolous and his buddies are seriously slimy. However, after she fired everyone who originally created her game for her and was supposed to develop the special edition that people paid for on Kickstarter, she dragged her feet for 2 years adding disco lights to the game and not providing any updates until the backers started to get agitated. Ultimately, Frank was the one communicating with backers and rushing Brianna to finish the game. Shouldn't an expert in the game's engine have been able to do this simple work in a much faster timeframe? Please note that this is only one example of her inflating her credentials to get people to donate to her cause and then utterly failing to deliver what was promised, which is why we say that she has a history of charlatanism.

Doesn't seem hard to find information on him. Looks like he spent 20 years in the Air Force and served six overseas deployments. He has a computer science degree from Vanderbilt which makes him more qualified on tech than your candidate. So I wouldn't be too eager to enter into some kind of debate with him in that field.

The reason he's a mystery to Brianna is because he holds a real full-time job flying jumbo jets around the world. He doesn't have the luxury that Brianna does of being unemployed for a decade and a half and tweeting all day.

Careful with the 'drooling rabid nature' there. I'm sure Warren's seen it with his own eyes on numerous occasions so it must be true. And Brianna's fun, so she's obviously telling the truth.

@W person cow, I was going to do a thing and show you the maybe few dozen cases I have, on Lolcow Wiki alone, of Brianna Wu showing her propensity of stepping over people she deems lesser and basically acting like a dick to people she should, ostensibly, be allies with, but I've noticed that you've gradually migrated away from even tangentially listening to what most here have to say, so instead I've chosen to give you this warning, instead:

It might happen when you run afoul of some dangerhair who claims you talked over her. It might be when helping keep an outrage machine going for years past its prime just is too much. It might happen when the Democratic Party continues its ongoing slide towards fucking obsolescence and fails dramatically in 2008. It might simply be because you, personally, can't simply ignore the lies any longer. Why it happens is irrelevant however - when it happens, you will be discarded, abandoned, and ultimately, forgotten, if you have not already by the ideology you purport to care about.

And at that point, only then you will fully understand why so many here tried to talk sense to you about Wu, in spite of the fact that you provably never had any intent of doing so in good faith.
