I don't really understand this. It made sense when I thought he was getting paid regularly but, now we know he's not getting a cent more from the Wu scam, why is he still working so hard? He seems like he's perpetually short on cash, so why is he wasting so much of his time, energy and car mileage on Wu's campaign failures? I guess he likes having a completely formless candidate he can represent as his perfect Berniecrat.

He's a true believer. His version of reality is just so stilted that he believes that Brianna is the progressive answer he's been looking for.
 
If Brianna believed in Warren she wouldn't have needed to buy her signatures.

I know a lot of Kiwis have a soft spot for Warren, but I can't stand the stupid cunt. He is clearly crazy and incompetent and if Brianna had actually trusted him she wouldn't have made the ballot, but instead she gets Frank to buy her the signatures. Now Warren is accepting the acclaim as though he's had a successful signature drive when the truth is he failed badly.

The impression I had is that Warren wasn't getting the kind of financing and support that would make success plausible. However, you seem to know more about this stuff. Did Warren actually have a shot here?

No he did not. She hired him well after most of the caucuses, which are the easiest time and place to get signatures. She has never organized any volunteers, has made no contacts in the towns in her district, and had no campaign plan. She doesn't show up to events, and has never tried to get her own signatures. He doesn't live in the district and doesn't seem to have any contacts here. There was no way Warren could have gotten 2000 signatures on his own, even if he were competent and sane.

I’m with you. The guy isn’t all that different from Brianna and Frank. Just because they’re using him and taking advantage of him, that doesn’t automatically make him innocent. His lies here show that he’s just like them. He’s literally celebrating getting a few hundred signatures while this company got a full 2000 more.

I'm not sure that even now Warren is actually aware Wu hired a company to do his job for him.
Certainly she wasn't giving him the whole picture a few weeks back, and I think the only way he was going to find out is if he comes here to read it.

God... Warren is so stupid I don't even know what to say. He's a child. He literally talks and acts like a mentally-challenged man who should be living in a home. And Brianna has filled him with childish glee that's going to be completely crushed when Brianna is blown out of the water.
This really feels like exploitation of a disabled person. Brianna Wu is exploiting the disabled. What next, Brianna? Going to abduct some homeless people to make into slaves, like some fucking gypsy?

LOL, so that's why Warren had to discard all the signatures he collected the first week. Wu wasn't even registered to vote in the district at the time.
It's remarkable that even in Warren's recounting of this epic struggle, Brianna has done next to nothing to actually help this effort and quite a lot to hinder it. Poor old Warren, not even getting paid and still doing the leg work for lazy ass Wu.
