Idk if the Legacy armies are going to get actual releases, but I kind of hope so. Supposedly the AoS and ToW teams are beefing over who can focus on what, but I think the legacy stuff will eventually get full releases. I am enjoying painting VC more then Bretonnia at this point.

I am assuming we can post about Mordheim here as well - making some terrain atm and want to do a 4x4 table eventually.

To the TW:W players, what is your opinion on Daemonic Legions? I know many have the options of human units, but I feel like it takes away from the spirit of playing them. Maybe I just got to get better at the game, as Daemons have shit autoresolve

Rate my list
I really like that list, plenty of punch from the wyvern, trolls and a nice solid brick with the black orcs. Troll hag is a sexy choice

My only change would be possibly taking out the orc boyz for more night goblins and splitting those squig hoppers into 2 units of 5 for some good flanking disruption

If you mean just any of the factions besides Warriors of Chaos or the mortal monogod worshippers, I think you want to mix the daemon and mortal units until you get to the higher tiers (and even then I'd still mix them). The Daemon Reforging change has helped them get more mileage, but the basic daemon infantry are just too vulnerable to crumbling that I usually support them with Chosen or some stronger mortal unit that stays in the fight. If you're dead set on being daemon-only, Khorne is probably your best bet given their combat prowess and Skulltaker/Skarbrand's power potential.

Waiting to see what the angry goats' book is like before I commit.
It's out today, just fyi.
but I think the legacy stuff will eventually get full releases.
I hope so too, but I wouldn't be completely surprised if they don't. GW put out a community post a while back using the lore to justify why they aren't core factions already, saying that the setting is focused on The Old World, so Lizards and Dark Elves would be too far away, Skaven, Chaos Demons, and Vampires are much less active during this time period, etc.
But at the same time I remember reading somewhere that they've made and just not released full rulesets for Kislev and Cathay armies (that don't exist), so who knows. GW are greedy fucks, at some point they'll realize retards (me) will pay for a new range of non-AoS Skaven minis.

I got a promotion at work, so as a treat I went and got the dwarfen mountain holds battalion. It’s super nostalgic, I collected and painted a bit in the early 2000s and I just like having a tray of units compared to the new versions. I had orcs and goblins when I was young but always wanted dwarfs.

I have always wanted an Orc and Goblin Army.

I really wanted to find a dwarfen option for cavalry and right now there are no good options but I found this 3d file and can’t wait to get them printed. They also have a version with goats I’ll be getting too.

I collect Oldhammer, not Old World. The Old World is not really the same setting as Warhammer Fantasy. It's modern.
