Agreed.
We need heroes for all the Chaos Legions, something that is sorely lacking.
When was the last time you saw a hero character from the Night Lords, Alpha Legion, Iron Warriors, or Word Bearers?
Even the Crimson Slaughter and Red Corsairs had their leaders get models.

Why do esport compfags even run to 40k? I’d imagine infinity or Warmachine would have gotten this crowd since iirc weren’t those games more “balanced”?

or is this a case of Smash Brothers where it’s a super popular casual game but you get a subset of people who push competition?

Grunk no speak compfag. What I get from this is that a bunch of try hards held a tournament so that they could claim better rankings among the community, yes? Either way, Florida Man strikes again.

I’m working on a community watch thread, I need to clean it up, but would it be ok if I mentioned it there? I had a complete section on cheaters I dropped but once I fix the op, I’ll probably do a few posts on some historic cheaters - they crop up in every gaming competitive scene it seems.

Who all is going in there? Just cheaters and shit, or can you dump info on hobbyist and shills that you think could be a laugh. Either way, I salute you.

Both. I mentioned Bols briefly, they’re some of the worst shills imo. I need to prune the op though so it’s still in prospering grounds. I’m going to do that tonight.

Imo there is enough lulz in tabletop ie 40k, D&D, pathfinder, etc, for a thread but most of the lolcows -obscure cheaters, shills, Bols, etc- in tabletop are niche and can’t sustain a thread on their own.
 
Built another kit today for my Necrons.

Hardest part about building the convergence of dominion kit was taking the parts of the sprue. Not sure if I want to work them into a list but they look good as scenery at least.
I got a voucher for GW from some friends over Christmas but the stuff I want is all out of stock. No Canoptek Doomstalkers or Triarch Praetoreans available. Might just have to grab some more bases for now since most of my robots need to be put on 32mm.

I have sadly lost the DM in the purge, but someone was looking into the Commie 40k Subreddits as well, not sure where that went.

Plus they are the only people who can make any advanced tech on any scale that approaches industrial levels.

Any Imperial war on the Mechanicus would last only as long as their gear holds out, because they could not replace anything more complex than a machine gun.

Warhammer YouTubers? Lolcows from Games Workshop itself (Matt Ward, for example)? The SonicFoxes of the competitive scene?

I covered GW being a lolcow (mostly Tom Kirby), some YouTubers, but I didn’t include Matt Ward except for the time he dabbed on PETA. I heard some Black Library authors flip out on Twitter all the time but I haven’t looked into them yet. Imo they all could be covered in Community Watch. Especially Matt Ward since hes more of a historical cow like most of his worst work was from 4th-5th edition if I remember correctly.
