Warhammer 40k

  • The Kiwi Farms was targeted with a historic DDoS attack last week. Confirmed reports of 2.8Tbps on an individual provider, topping 4.8Tbps when known volumes are added together, and possibly up to 8Tbps if the attacker is believed. This is the third of fourth largest recorded.

I just wish they didn't lock most of the games factions behind DLC with just the base game you can only play Blood Angels and Tyranids.

That's also ignoring the other factions that could have been in the game from the start that they went "nah let's just slap a 15 dollar price tag on them."

Well it is certainly annoying, but that's how it always works. You can't expect them to put all factions into the game just from the get-go. 40K is just too big of a moneymaker, if you can milk the fan base why not do it ? But its criminal that they still haven't added Eldar.

Ah. That explains why people say to proxy. Cadian Shock Troops are like $45 dollars for 10 models.
Welcome to the Guard.

Its why you should get 2x Leman Russ, 2x Rogal Dorn and maaaaybe a Baneblade to contribute on points. Whilst its not Admech or Sisters level of $ per point, its not great.

Grab a Russ or two and look up a guide on how to magnetize the cannon, a new edition is coming and you don't want to commit to an option that might get nerfed.
You dont need to magnetize the demolition cannon/executioner/punisher turret too extensively, they slot somewhat snugly using a little tab, same for the sponson weapons
The regular turret that fits the battle cannon/eradicator/exterminator/punisher can be done by just using a big magnet and either straight super glue or bluetack/greenstuff

Ah, I didn't realize since I was more of a sentinel guy so I never actually picked up a Russ.

I still don't understand why we needed woman custodes (besides nobody plays custodes so who truly gives a fuck, I guess).

If you have to have more uwu strong queen slay in power armor because SoS and SoB weren't enough and making female space marines actually would kill your property, might as well add an s to s few pronouns at random for custodes in your book.

It's retarded regardless, just give me more SoS shit. Null nuns with claymores is sick as hell.

I remember Splattercat being a shill, could be misremembering but if not then that's the last person whose opinion I care for. And judging from @Jhonny Jhon's post...yeah.
I watch him because he tends to show case games I'm actually interested in that I wouldn't have heard about otherwise. It's the only reason I have Colony Ship which I'm currently playing through.

But I would not be surprised if he accepts money to feature games in general.

Warm weather means less computer, more hobby.

AOS. I've got my 5 hammer bros painted, was flocking the base and fucked it up. I know what I did wrong (should paint the base brown then flock) but now 3 of my guys have patchy flock with white showing through. Not sure if I should paint over the flock, or just flock it again.

The game does have a few glaring issues.
Fuck's sake... wanted to dive into the game tonight, already expected some of the things you listed, especially 4. and 8., but this does not sound good. No exploration? So it's just battle map after battle map and nothing else? No customization also sounds like complete shit. At least i'm not going to pay for this shit.
Jesus Christ man. I really liked Wraight as a BL writer, loved the Vaults of Terra trilogy.

Listening to the Reverie has been a fucking trip. The subtle chaos shit that's going on has been interesting to watch unfold, both among the mortals and the Space Marines.
