Anybody know what the official Great Crusade policy on aliens was? From what little I've read so far, it's more of a commander's discretion thing.
I think it really depended on whether the aliens were 1. Sentient or not 2. Occupying a previous Golden Age of humanity colony. 3. Used AI 4. Subjugated humans

If they stayed the fuck out of the way like some craft worlds then no harm no foul.

Except orks. All my faithful servents of the emperor homies hate orks

From what I can tell, while individual alien species had something of a chance to not get eradicated, mixed human-alien civilizations were instantly annihilated.

There was some thought (expressed in the early HH books) that Horus was willing to see how the interex worked with their client xenos. This was less 'first sign of deviancy from the Imperial policy' and more 'hey, Dad put me in charge, might as well try something new'.

Of course, then Erebus touched off a war with the interex by stealing the anathames and fucked things all to hell.

Its gonna be another female stormcast model and will be the only female of the unit type and never get re-released ever.
I wouldnt imagine it would be hard to convert. Stormcasts have female models and are kinda samey. Something from a faction thats more unique would hurt a lot more. Life a female necron.

GW likes to push Female Stormcasts a lot but early AoS kits dont have female units. IIRC the only boxes with femcast are Sequitors and Evocators, a special female only unit exists but shes just a stormcast assassin.

With the Alpharius Primarch book just over the horizon, there are 4 books left.
I personally then the order should be this:
Mortarion - Wraps up the last of the rando Primarchs.
Rogal Dorn - Fitting that his book should be near the end due to his role in the Siege of Terra.
Sanguinius - Likewise, it was his death that turned the tide.
Horus Lupercal - Only fitting as the last book.

Random thing but I was listening to DoW 2 unit quotes again and I am listening to the Catachans and man I love when devs capture the feel of a unit perfectly

I never would have thought Catachans would be that religious but they conveyed it perfectly imo

>Plague Marines.....BY THE THRONE THEY STINK

>GET THEM UNHOLY BASTERDS

>I always wanted to kill a false god

>Even a greater demon will fall to the devils!

>Shoot those puny heretics

or my favorite when you kill a Space Marine

>"Huh? Emperor's finest, eh?"

You left out their best lines. "You ain't seen what we've seen." And "Get to the Valkyrie!"

Just found this video:
It reminded me of the opening of Monty Python & the Holy Grail.

C.S. Goto is an idiot who doesn't get warhammer, so of course he completely doesn't get Eldar. I don't wish death upon the man, I just wish he would stick to lesser intellectual endeavors, such as writing star wars fiction.

Goto is so bad at writing Eldar that I almost like it. Like, Goto isn't above writing a Wraithknight that ties Land Speeders to its feet to use them as armored roller skates, because he feels the Eldar don't understand the concept of reinforcing their own armor with excess metal, so they have to act like Lootas.

Which of the primarch books are worth getting, and do I need to be caught up in the HH books to read any of them? I stopped reading after Pharos, for no particular reason, and haven't started back up. I did read everything up to Pharos.
