Mawtribes are the Imperial Knights equivalent in 40k, right? Giant fat Giants, high cost stupid-elite army? Or is that one of the others? AoS has too many factions heh.

That would be the Sons of Behemat. The bigger ones have 35 wounds.

It's an interesting shift. Disgustingly Resilient originally gave the ability to resist any wound on a 5+. It's... a slight nerf, in that a good dice roll could reduce a weapons barrage from your opponent to nothing. But it IS more consistent, and with Plague Marines now having 2 wounds, it actually screws with the ability of 2 damage weapons to kill them.

I was actually wondering that if the meta is focusing dealing with Primaris, and now 2 wound First Born, having Space Marines that don't die to two damage shots could potentially be very powerful.

I don't really get the logic behind the new DG. GW has created an army whose gimmick is to be a counter to armies struggling against SM lists?

Are you coping or celebrating deathguard bros?
Mine are still on sprue so i’m meh at the moment. The cope on /tg/ when it was announced was beautiful the entire thread dissolved into a beautiful trash fire.
Although unless pox walkers get their own rule it has kinda killed the unit as a whole.

I love this dudes channel. All the terrain looks old school AF and now he does something like this :story:

Cultists?
I was hoping for Tyranids.
At least it isn't Orcs for the -nth time.
The first trailer had nurgle zombies, wouldnt be suprised if they had a mix.

Good, fuck pox walkers

Would be too similar to Space Hulk Deathwing if it was Nids. Chaos cultists is a nice change.
Disagree.
At least have it be Genestealer cultists.
The last time anything Tyranid was featured on a console game was Kill Team (the arcade game published by THQ).
That was 9 years ago. It's been Orks and Chaos since then.

I'm happy that Ogryns are finally getting love again

My Dawn of War campaigns with IG would mean almost a whole army with the bastards slapping and shooting everything

Gw should have just redid all regular marines to chadmarines too, and have everyone rebuy their models instead if squatting them.

That would have been more money.

Imagine truescale Devastators.

What are these supposed to be?

They are part of House of Van Saar, the wealthiest and "more cutting-edge" gang in Hive Primus.
As a result, they are one of the top 6 gangs in the hive city.
