There was the CGI Ultramarines movie, which I rewatched recently. The voice acting is good (John Hurt apparently had a nephew who was into 40k or something and got him involved) and it's written by Dan "Based" Abnett. The CGI is a bit lackluster even for ten years ago, but it was quite enjoyable to revisit.

If they were smart, they would endorse the animators who did Astartes, Death of Hope, and The Exodite.
The only question I would ask is "How much do you need to make a timely release?"

Do we have official dates for the Indomitus Crusade? Or is it just a vague "century"?

I do remember some drama between him and Lutein09 over Dawn of War 3 a few years ago, but it really is the politics that hurt his reputation. He's the only big Warhammer Youtuber that brings up politics repeatedly. Everyone else keeps their politics private or outside of their videos. He could have practiced a modicum of restraint and put the sperging to the side but he didn't. A joke here and there is fine, but Arch has made his brand Warhammer and Conservative politics.

Also, if you have to make a 10 minute video to discuss if a Space Marine can be black, you deserve to be mocked for that stupidity.
The more I think about it I'm less sure of Arch being overly political besides in around 2016 when it was "in". He ia definitely not political in his official lore videos, with political sperging being contained into let's play's. The skin color is more about the hobby being overtaken by sjw's, which is a popular topic covered by other WH.

And Arch is definitely not Conservative, just the usual case of center left who is now considered alt right for the same popular belief of 10 years ago.

How did ignoring politics work out for the hobby?

The hobby can try and ignore politics, but it turns out the political don't like to ignore the hobby.

It does, however, give Sigmarxism a nice weapon to use against you if you ever speak up against them. Remember, the left doesn't consider their politics to be political, they consider them to be absolute moral truths that only evil people would reject.

I've noticed they do the same thing the SomethingAwful goons used to weaponize against furries back in the day. Poke people in the ribs until they react, then claim their reaction was a violation of the rules.

Has anybody ever used this color?
It looks perfect for the Alpha Legion armor color scheme.

I used something very similar to that on a couple of test models. Consistency was a little weird, but it worked pretty well.

I'm guessing Ghazghkull, Silent King and Abbadon will be Supreme Comanders. Fulgrim has been in the rumour mill for a while now, but I'm guessing we'll be getting Lion as well. I'm trying to think of who else would qualify as Supreme Commanders.

Maybe a new Iron Warriors character, could also be given to Dante. And I'd like to see Vulcan over El'Jonson. Oh, and maybe a new Vect model, too.

You know, I watch his videos fairly regularly, and I simply don't remember him bringing politics up. Do you have an example?

As for the 10 minute Black Space Marine video... yes, actually. Given there are multiple instances in the lore of racial characteristics being overwritten by the Geneseed, 3 or 4 of which he covered in the video... it does take time to go through that stuff. Yes, a black human becoming a space marine isn't anything special. But the end result should have looked like an Ultramarine. And Ultramarines should look vaguely like Gulliman.

Or was what he should have done was immediately retreated from the woke position and ceded the point?

Pushing back on leftist creep = That Nazi brought politics into the hobby! REEEEEEE!

People need to remember who threw the first punch. If more people pushed back, comics, movies, MtG, D&D/RPGs, video games, television/netflix, anime, etc. wouldn't have all been co-opted by leftists and degenerates.

I feel like it's a character that controls more than one faction. Fits Girlyman, Silent King, and Abbadon, but not so much Mortarion and Magnus.

Space Marine Chapter Master feels beneath this designation. It's actually a relatively small force they are in charge of. Dante I guess counts as he's in charge of half the Imperium. Mortarion at least it's implied to have a much more Great Crusade level legion in tact (not sure what shape modern day thousand sons are in). However rather low on the totem pole Imperial Guard general would be in charge of millions often from different factions with in the Guard.

I won't be surprised if GW throws a Lion under the bus again, keeps him being an Incel deep in the rock, and brings back one of the other lost, "dead", or even legit dead Primarchs back instead.

You are all forgetting the greatest ""supreme commander"", Captain General Trajann Valoris!

Also that techpriest and chaplain on bike are cool. The c'tan shard is kinda blah, its neat that its apart of the void dragon, but that doesnt make it look cool. Szarekh looks pretty neat.

Reading the books, the Dark Angels unforgiven plotline always felt completely retarded since they basically commit constant crimes to cover for an original crime, with the new ones being at the level that normal chapters get declared traitors for.

If a new primarch comes around, it should be someone who doesn't like Girlyman very much (but not to the point they're willing to fuck the imperium over) and has actual power (not shards of chapters). Russ or Dorn are good candidates in that regard, each having a lot of interesting interaction with the new imperium. Though Dorn is probably best, while Guilliman ended up accepting the new imperium, Dorn will not yield on what happened to it.

ChafMarine on Bike, and Chaplain ChafMarine on bike makes me wanna say Khan(plus he's a minority). Plus Ynnead can be the one to pull his ass out of the webway so we can have the Eldar responsible for that again.

I'd still be happy to have him back though.

Khan's only claim to fame is being the most forgettable primarch, and he has stiff competition with Ferrus for it.

Ferrus is only known because Fulgrim cut his head off. Id argue that without that, Khan is more known because I have actually seen white scars players. I have never ever seen an ironhands player, even online.

I'm sure Khan's gotten more development in Horus Heresy on the fact that he's survived into later books.

I dunno, I just like Space Ghengis Khan.
