I fully believe almost everything in that Warbros screenshot. There is definitely some kind of change in DE.
How do I know? Let me tell you a story.
Back in closed beta, they introduced alerts. What is important to understand here is that when they first did it, they were made repeatable by mistake. I forget if you had to do some procedure to get back in, but the point remains: you could use it to gain dozens of Orokin Catalyst and Orokin Reactor blueprints.
What did DE do about this? Nothing! They said that the mistake was on their end, and no one would be punished or have their extra blueprints taken for their mistake.
Nowadays, DE reverts clan scores in the Demolyst event because someone had the bright idea to use Loki's Switch Teleport to kill the ridiculously tanky Demolysts by tossing them down pits. They ban you if you figured out you could farm Nightwave points by inviting people into your game that had downed Saturn Six fugitives. And so on.
