As a game, i’d say yes (plains of eidolon rework for example), but there still isn’t really anything worth doing once you’ve got everything you want since you’re only farming towards doing the same thing but faster/flashier.

community/pr wise, they’re probably going to get better over time thanks to the backlash/criticism they’ve been getting ( :optimistic: )

As a game, you basically make your own goals. It's like, 'Ok, I want to farm this prime weapon or Warframe.' You don't have to hit the endgame fast. You can go as slow or as fast as you want. They're still innovating with the Nightwave and making the grind easier. Endgame is always an issue with these types of games. If Path of Exile can do it, Warframe can do it too.

My suggestion for Warframe players is to find a guild and turn off region chat altogether and ignore these mods and their little pathetic fiefdoms. My guild mate gave me a vaulted Ember Prime component (vaulted means that you can no longer acquire it in game and you have to trade for it or get lucky someone is using an old relic that no longer drops. Relics are equivalent to chests. You do missions to open it and there are different prime items in them. You cant pay to get better chances) for free. And it was worth 40 plat, equivalent to about $5.

So find a guild and ignore this dogshit. The only problem with warframe is that there are a lot of weapons and frames and your inventory gets filled really fast. And it costs premium currency for more slots. Though if you want to play the trading game you don't have to spend a cent.

Adding towards the "You can go as slow or as fast as you want.", try progressing through the star chart on solo, it really made the game more fun for me because there were many secrets & details etc. in the maps that you wouldn't notice if you were racing 3 other players to extraction. You also get to actually kill the enemies...

You can "pay" with void traces but you get those indirectly by opening relics, so that's probably not what you meant with paying.

I got some of my friends into Warframe and their endgame is sitting in region chat, trying to write about trapping

I literally just got my Hydroid Prime System two days ago and finished it off finally. I'm almost done with Mesa Prime and Zephyr Prime too. But I need golds, and getting golds are a bitch, even with Radiant. And farming void traces sucks. If you want to get the relics you can farm out Xini on Eris. It takes around 15-20 minutes and if you're on point, you'll get 2 Neo and 2 Axi Relics each time. Though sometimes you get Trick Mag and everyone gets pissed.

I'd try trading relics for it, eventually you'll find someone who needs something you've got. But now I'm running low on Orokin shit, so I'm going to have to farm that eventually.

Yeah, I just mean void trace farming. You can't pay plat. Best way to do it is do shitty Lilith relics like rescue or capture. I might just max my void traces for now since I've got a fuck-ton of Lilith relics.
 
Just trade for stuff, it's really easy. Even if you're just playing "normally" you can always just sell duplicate rare pieces where the average sold platinum value is greater than it's ducats value. There are regularly new players who will pay you 1p per common mod, you can often outfit these players with a full set of starter mods (serration, redirection, etc). You can also buy under-priced stuff to flip pretty regularly. Look for timed events to buy up mods on the cheap and sell them later, I did this with Hunter Munition.
 
Once you really buckle down and just grind relics it's easy to suddenly start making a decent amount of plat. I mean, fucking Warframe SFM artists are in the six digits and can't even use it. I know it's irrelevant but it really is a bloat credit. There's a reason that end-game is all about money sinks. You get your few favorite frames and you basically don't need to actively seek plat anymore.

I know it's too late by this point and not really on-topic, but I want to elaborate on this a little bit. There was a mild outrage in Russia regarding Company of Heroes 2 because of its portrayal of the Soviet army. It would've been a very niche game with some following if not for this review by BadComedian, a rather known russian film reviewer. In his review, he called people involved in game's development nazis (I can't even tell if he's being ironic about it; also available in english, but the accent, gosh) and said that it's historically inaccurate and unrealistically portrays the Soviet army. After the review became more widespread, people became curious and the game became a best-seller, because people were buying the game just to see what all the fuss was about. There were 2 petitions for the game to be dropped - one addressed to 1C company, the other to Valve and Gabe Newell personally. When sales started going down, 1C, a russian software developer and video game publisher, stopped publishing the game in Russia. There are also numerous threads about it on COH2, like this one, for example.

Now, something you have to keep in mind is that in Russia has what is called a "victory cult". "Victory cult" implies a god-like reverence of Soviet Union's victory over the nazi menace in World War 2 and Great Patriotic War in particular. It also means that many, many crimes that the Soviet government commited against its very own people are overlooked because it was all for the greater good, never ever mentioning them again. I am not a history buff, so I cannot tell you what numbers there are, but if you go against the grain, no matter how you choose to express your opinion, you will get a stink-eye from many people around you, sometimes even if it's a very obvious joke. This reverence is shown to children, who mindlessly start following others. Some russians (mostly younger ones) had become very tired of this and use edgy jokes for shock value. At some point many years ago there was a group in VK (basically Russia's counterpart to Facebook) called "Аниме лучше ветеранов" ("Anime is better than veterans"). You can guess what was happening in there.

The best part? There is barely anyone who actually cares about WW2 survivors/veteran until March 9, a russian national holiday celebrating victory over Nazi Germany. Caring as in "providing food and clothes", not "thinking about them once every 2 months and saying how bad they had it back then"
 
I'm amazed this topic has only been created in 2019. Some of the mods deserve their own thread in Tumblr farm for the shit they'be been pulling since 2015 or maybe even earlier. However, this mod drama really made their (in)famousness blow up.

I did some digging through equius' main blog. Checked out the tags she frequently used through the years, and I came across and old pre-troon pen name she used. I remembered the person she scammed refered to fanfictions, or roleplays, or some shit like that... I did some googling of said former pen name and found this...

I got actual reason to hate him and am disappointed none of you found the GOOD SHIT while you could. You don't even have his real Twitter anymore and that right there tells me y'all are some of the worst stalkers I've ever laughed at. I got more information than anyone here on why he's such a shit human being, stretching back ages and ages... but I'm going to bite my tongue because watching you all try to scramble to piece together the entire story is far more amusing. Maybe one day if he makes me hate him more than I do I might rant here. Til then you guys are gonna have to redouble your efforts, and what you've dug up so far is just surface level bullshit that doesn't even begin to cover it. Try harder.
