Of course they give a milquetoast answer and hide behind that "personal attack" malarkey. The remaining shit mods, draconian chatbot, and Danielle are all ruining DE's reputation and souring the community's goodwill.
I enjoy Warframe as a game but I'm losing respect for the devs due to their complete and total lack of action on this. From a business perspective it's almost suicidal. Warframe is lauded for the dev's high community engagement and friendly community, tainting that reputation is like killing the golden goose.

Wow, this is very shortly behind Bethesda's PR bullshittery. Good job, DE!
Almost everyone in their "Privileged positions" have YEARS of abuse behind them, and they want to spew this crap? Someone has their head in the sand. Probably Danielle.
 
I love watching companies self-destruct in the PR field as if people will put up with this and never stop being they're paying customers.

News flash for video game publishers and developers: you aren't fucking utility companies.
Customers have zero obligation to stick around if they want to because they don't need to play any specific video game to have fun. End of the day, the only thing holding people into something like this is stuff they value, i.e return on gameplay time, their collected inventory, and promised future content. For most, PR wouldn't bother them but if it keeps leaking more and more like this than people will quit the game. The Free to Play market is big money and packed with variety; it's a consumer market, not a publisher market.

Holy shit the guy actually killed the guides. I just assumed nepotism would have override all business logic going on at DE. Truly one of the harshest criticism towards guides was, "what are the fuck are those?". I've played a considerable amount of Warframe and I've never seen a guide, I don't really know what they do, I think they just get people banned from chat. Are they supposed to be a human google for the Warframe wikia?

DE's public twitter response to the criticism was really something, especially after following several of his key pieces of advice (get rid of/replace Guides, disassociate from the existing Discord).

As a game, i’d say yes (plains of eidolon rework for example), but there still isn’t really anything worth doing once you’ve got everything you want since you’re only farming towards doing the same thing but faster/flashier.

community/pr wise, they’re probably going to get better over time thanks to the backlash/criticism they’ve been getting ( :optimistic: )

We live in a society It's kind of sad that it's almost amazing to see a company do something that should be what immediately happens when a bunch of shit-tier SJWs crawls up their ass like anal polyps and starts shitting all over their customers. "I guess we get rid of these idiots" is just such a no-brainer that it shouldn't be surprising when it actually happens.

Pretty much. There's not a lot of endgame content, just bigger and cooler looking frames/guns/etc.

Still, it's a lot of fun to run along a wall blazing away with your rifle and shredding the enemy as you stage a SEAL Team Six-esque hostage rescue.

Eh, failed memeing. I know the endgame is non-existent but I'm pretty addicted to the game. Been playing for about a year or so and haven't really run into any problems, mainly because I solo a lot and my clan is chill af. I've been lucky I guess.
