Yeah, I can see how some of the hard core folks on r/waifuism would consider him a "casual" because of this. There are some interesting fringe cases on there, like that closetweeb guy who's got a thing for the little girl but knows it'll never be a "real" waifuism relationship. I'm actually surprised he hasn't been driven out as a poser.

Someone new to the "lifestyle" asked how to spend time with his waifu and the responses show something of the range that exists.

They don't really consider him a "casual", just get upset by him acknowledging that it's not real. And telling him things like he's making people feel horrible and hurting their feelings by...saying his own waifu isn't real. (Because, you know, telling people online exactly how to upset you is a great idea.)

I'm not sure how they'd treat that on /r/waifuism, though. It seems to be the one where the relationship larping is not just most common but most extreme too, and he said it's the most drama-prone, so yeah I could see them wanting to "out" people who don't embarrass themselves pretending their fictional character crushes love them back and date them. He's never posted on it and apparently even other waifufag groups don't like them. And that's kind of sad when you think about it. Imagine being too autistic for even waifufag groups.

I know that a while back there was a big schism over the issue of polyamorous relationships, with the waifu taliban at r/waifuism declaring it to be improper because in almost all cases, it conflicted with (or wasn't supported by) a waifu's source material (as opposed to all the other ridiculous head-cannon they impose--like Blake's Nekopara daughters not being rampant sluts). A bunch of poly people split off at that point, including one of their mods I think. Then there's Venom's vendetta against what he sees as inappropriate sexual behavior. Yeah, that group seems to find a way to irritate everyone.

To be fair I guess it is freaky to view someone as a daughter and then want to fuck them but this kind of drama about how people are treating their imaginary anime wives wrong is just so autistic by its very nature.

As for Venom, my friend never liked him, and I think I've seen screencaps involving him before, but neither of us knew he was mad about sexual behavior. However, plenty of times in the past he's told me how a lot of people will embarrass themselves making creepy horny posts, talk about (often gross) sexual fantasies, and in some cases even talk about those fantasies as if they really did fuck their waifus. And it's impossible to call out how creepy they're acting without drama starting.

Venom is disliked by pretty much everyone even in waifuist communities. He's very narcissistic and hates anime. He's also generally a very angry person and from what I've heard there have been several instances of him harassing specific waifuists. There's a reason his 'empire' tanked.

Spicy happenings on /r/Waifuism right now. The aforementioned Venom has obtained some insider info about /r/Waifuism members offsite porn behavior. Screenshots were posted on the reddit from people sharing messed up porn of their waifus like rape and mind break and futa. There's also some pics of them cumming on figurines and drawings also known as a cum tribute. Also included are what seem like xhamster profiles of users one which has a ton of cum tribute videos posted and another that favorites other peoples tributes. Sadly the mods are all over this and have completely DISABLED posting on the reddit and even hid the discord channel they have setup where a bot posts newly posted reddit threads. Hopefully I can find some more on this but for now enjoy.
