Voat - Reddit clone full of alt-righters who call people they disagree with shills

This, I think, is a topic that's been long overdue. Voat is a website that was created as a place centered around free speech due to Reddit banning some subreddits deemed hateful by then-CEO Ellen Pao. It, ironically, has become an alt-right hugbox full of circlejerking about how evil liberals are, how evil the media is, how anyone who disagrees with them is a liberal/cuck/exceptional individual/libtard/degenerate, how Donald Trump is a perfect god, how SJWs are ruining America, etc.

Ironically, they have quite a few similarities to the SJWs they hate, they expect the world to bend over for them, and also blame their problems on everyone but themselves. They also call anyone who posts something they disagree with a "shill," and seem to think these "shills" are trying to undermine the forum.

Like many forums where anyone with dissenting views is either banned or, in this case, driven out, they seem to be unable to even entertain the possibility that they might be the slightest bit wrong.

Yeah, just so I'm clear, I don't agree with subreddits being banned because admins don't like them. However, I disagree more with people refusing to entertain other viewpoints.

Yeah, I lurk voat sometimes too, specially Fat People Hate, because they're triggered by food 24/7 and have the strange habit of posting, every ten seconds, about how successful they are, how they have a super hot partner and have lots of hot sex, and how they have flat stomachs, tigh gaps and humongous titties.

Yup. There was this one girl one time, who posted about her fat jealous roommate that tried to sabotage all her dates with super hot guys with six packs and six figures. She said that the fat roommate was jealous of her absolute huge and round titties too. Funny story, The_Donald tried to migrate over, but got chased off. Apparently, they tried to set up their own subverse called ThePedes, and people didn't like it. Here are some screencaps that were posted to /r/jokes. What I found interesting is one of the posts has the following

...And fuck off with your shitposts. Post actual good content or leave.

This speaks to something else that kinda bugs me about Voat. They seem to be too focused on serious discussion of how minorities/liberals/Jews/[insert other group that isn't them here] are ruining everything, that they refuse to see there's more to forums than just rambling on about how you hate everyone outside of your hugbox.
