Double post, but I feel like this needs it's own separate post.
THE VIRGIN PALUTENA'S GUIDANCE
  • Nintendo characters commenting on other Nintendo characters; feels like a circle jerk

  • Cringy as fuck

  • Couldn't even get waifu bait's original voice actress; ecoterrorist loli-bait sounds like a bootleg version despite being voiced by the same person

  • Relies too much on memes. The Fox guidance is almost entirely overused Star Fox 64 quotes

  • Doesn't have any of the funny characters from Uprising (eg Hades)

  • Guest character is generic protagonist from tactical waifu simulator; is only their to remind everyone why he wasn't playable

  • Had to be updated in Ultimate; still not funny

  • Not even Uprising fans will defend this

  • Doesn't shit on Sonic the Hedgehog and his fanbase

THE CHAD CODEC CONVERSATIONS
  • Metal Gear characters commenting on Nintendo characters; the contrast adds to the humor

  • Funny as fuck

  • All the voice actors reprise their roles, and sound the same as they do in Metal Gear

  • Only one codec (Captain Falcon's) uses a meme; still funny and well written

  • Brings back the Colonel AI, the most memorable character from MGS2, for Luigi's codec

  • Guest character is Slippy Toad from Star Fox hacking into Snake's main channel; is their to give information on how to effectively beat the shit out of own wingmate

  • Didn't need to be updated for Ultimate; is already perfect

  • Even people that never played Metal Gear find it entertaining

  • Shits on Sonic the Hedgehog, and possibly also his fans
