If this sales calculator is accurate, she's only selling about 4 physical books a day, and 1 e book per day - definitely not enough to quit her day job if she still has one (which I don't believe she does anymore given how much she travels). She's still running an online only version of babecamp to the tune of almost $300 per person, but considering she panders to a crowd that whines about being poor almost as much as they whine about not getting hit on by hot dudes, I can't imagine she has a ton of participants. Even if she's lucky enough to get 5 at a time, an extra $1500 here and there is not going to make a dent when she's competing with people who are making tech salaries.

I have absolutely zero clue as to what her speaking engagements or Forbes gig would pay. She doesn't actually show much her living situation on social media from what I've seen, so I always assumed it was something fairly unglamorous, like having to share a studio or 1 bedroom with a platonic roommate.

Actually, are we sure it isn't a 45 year-old obese Asian man? Because it looks like a 45 year-old obese Asian man that trooned out. I feel like I could Google search something like "fat middle-aged Asian faggot" and find a picture of someone that looks just like Virgie.

I know I'm probably in top hat territory here but I rarely find someone this astonishingly unattractive. I'd love to see those crazy South Korean plastic surgeons take a crack at this thing.

I honestly can't imagine Virgie spending time with a normal family in Ohio. Is she able to hide/compartmentalize her crazy? What if someone brings up dieting? Does she throw all her alleged values and activism out the window for hobbit dick and some tacky Christmas presents?

No loving parent is going to talk to their child like that. If the kid is fat, the parent might sign the kid up for sports and make them more home cooked food. A parent might say something like, "looks like you gained a bit of weight. That's okay, we can both start to move more and eat a little better." A good parent is no going to tell their kid that they, "lost their innocence" or that they have a "bad moral compass." How does Virgie come up with this stuff?

She would have been called out as a privileged smallfat and told to stay in her lane long ago, were she not Latina. In the twisted calculus of oppression, being a POC and a sub-300lb "smallfat" is roughly equivalent in oppression points to being white and a 450+lb "infinifat."
 
I thought Virgie was a highly unfortunate-looking, fat East Asian or half white, half East Asian for ages. The East Asian thing would explain the biterness because god knows Asians don't hold back on the fat shaming. The face is ... well, the eyes are .... yeah. I'd love to see her parents because that's some odd set of genetics right there.
