I’m 120% sure I’ve seen less unfortunately ugly people in my life. Virgie (even her name sounds gross) likes to jump aboard the fat acceptance train (or weight-bearing ships) but she isn’t, compered to some of the near 600lb landwhales, all that large.

Being ugly in the nearly-deformed sense is easily put in the passenger seat while screeching endlessly on fat acceptance. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s purposefully engorged herself to mini-hamplanet status in an attempt to disguise everything else that’s helplessly unfortunate about her appearance.

I always view Virgie as the opposite of Tess Holliday. Virgie is barely a "small fat" by obesity advocate standards, yet her face looks like she'd be close to 600 lb. Tess on the other hand is probably 600 lb, but could still pass as a "small fat" if nothing but her face was photographed.

Tbh sometimes I wonder if Virgie latched on to the FA/HAES movement because there’s no groups she can join to protest how unfortunately ugly she is. Like, I’m sure if there was an ugly people united against ugly people discrimination movement she’d be all up in that one instead.

I think Virgie is the exact type to think “if I say I’m fat on purpose, they’ll think I’m this ugly on purpose/the ugly is only cause I’m fat/ooh cheesecake!” but like no bitch, my mental photoshop says you’d still be ugly as fuck no matter what size. You’re Hideous At Every Size.

If she kept the ugly face while dropping the obesity and obnoxious personality, she wouldn't be so tiresome. I have no ill will towards people who are just unfortunate in the looks department (I'm not exactly a model myself) but she makes the choice to be as annoying and tedious as possible.

Tbh she isn't quite as purely horrifying as the fatter creatures on here because she can clearly still wipe her own ass and at least she admits to shoveling loads of trash down her throat. unlike tess "i didn't eat for 2 whole hours" the anorexic. Kelly is also ugly as hell but at least virgie doesn't sit around posting nudes and crowdsourcing ways to deal with fat roll yeast infections... she has the dignity to wear ugly gaudy outfits for her posts and keep the cringe relatively sfw. She's a great starting point for getting into the fat lolcow rabbit hole imo
 
Clever of Virgie to clamber aboard the HAES train; shes considered almost a "normie" in that world, since she's a size 18/20/1 or 2 X which is a SmallFat to them. By being phenomenally ugly, she "excuses" her relatively tiny ( :story: ) size. If she were an Ashley Graham facially, then she would be rejected by the Infinifat losers who run the game.

Jude Valentin has recently developed arms like this and I don't.. understand how it even works.

Also making colleagues feel tense about discussing healthy living may contribute to the fat employment/promotion gap, that FAs reference.

I read the article, and she's gotten hold of the absolute wrong end of the stick. In my state, at least, a large workplace often sees people bringing in doughnuts. The company sponsors pizza parties when we hit certain milestones, and workplace happy hours are a monthly thing. You're not going to be shamed for taking a second piece of whatever; on the contrary, you get weird looks if you're trying NOT to eat too much of the free calories.

Also, she seems stuck on this idea that any form of restriction or self-discipline is an eating disorder -- ergo, pathological. I really do get the feeling that she's mad about being fat and is trying to convince other women to be fatter as well.
 
Now that you mention it, there is a notable lack of glasses free photos in her feed. This is one of the few I could find, she looks like a female version of no-neck Ed from 90 Day Fiance.

Crippling insecurities and self-loathing.

My favorite thing about FA/BP activists is that they preach self-acceptance but don't practice it. It is my experience that loudest/most obnoxious people are usually also the most insecure.

Lol, the “me, me, ME” entitlement in this post is beautiful. Its her boyfriends birthday, with a lot of festivities planned (yknow to celebrate HIM) but SHE decided to cancel because she had the anxietieeeeeez. Rather than get some self-care techniques (or medication) so she can not be in the center of the universe for once, she sees nothing wrong with canceling HIS day, but then celebrating it the next week doing all the things SHE likes. This guy is a cuck and a half.

I'm sure the fast food industry and medical industry are just thrilled, if all fierce fat femmes stay fat and "totally hulthy". Hope you never get universal healthcare tho....
