According to the schedule he had a block Friday. I haven't watched yet, so he also may have been in the multiplayer block.
He streamed on friday and for some reason he streamed on his own.
Ah i see, i guess he just streamed on his own once his block was done.
Still a bit weird since everyone just waits till the charity is done to get back to regular schedules, even Ima who didn't participate waited for the charity to be almost over

The vineworlds stuff is kind of depressing. It feels like a goodbye to vinesauce as a concept since he doesn't stream anymore. No wonder there's not a ton of money coming in.

Should have had an incentive to stream once a week or something.
I sort of get that vibe, especially since Hooty might not be coming back for next year's ViH. Hearing that Vinny likes life without streams and that "maybe a little streaming" bit definitely made me realize that the golden years are probably behind us. Still glad to have him around though, and I've been enjoying the videos.

Anyone else just lose all interest in Vinesauce since the whole incident? Haven't followed any of the YT videos, and just sort of moved on. A lot of my friends are the same. Vinny took way too long to "come back", I really don't even care anymore.
the incident didn't do shit , but ya know, all vinny is just a guy playing vidya games. Watch Joel or some other streamer dued, if vin takes some time to come back then so be it just be fucking patient

Agreed.
Imagine having your private life leaked out for thousands to know, rumors about you being a sex-pest or that you give people STDs or whatever the fuck was being said about Vinny. Would you really want to be criticized cause you're 'took way too long to "come back"'?
Let the man breathe for a while, christ.

They raised 152k this year and thats not counting the money from the merch and twitch subs.
The fact that Vinny was able to reach his goal of 150k with no incentives and only saying that "It will make me happy" is incredible. He got like 10k in donations in the last 5 minutes.

This is how all the streamers raised individually. No surprise Vinny and Joel are at the top, which makes me question why they didnt get more than 1 block or more hours to stream. That was one of the biggest mistakes if they were really looking to raise more.

Vinny 61,000 (Compared to Vinny's last year 4 hour stream which included big incentives and him playing connect 4 at the end with Joel, 49k was raised)

Joel 19858

Alpharad 10,000 + 10k he said he will donate
GreatZot 12,483
Ross 8254
Hootey 6857
Desert 6135
Mike 5900
Rev 5503

Shesez 3626
Limes 3242
Gear 2971
Fred 1350

I feel the same way, and I think that's okay. I've been following Jabroni Mike for years, and I've realized that he doesn't get angry like he used to. And while I did enjoy that to some extent, I'm happy that he's in a place where he just doesn't get that angry anymore because he has so much to be grateful and happy for. None of this is going to last forever. But knowing that he's okay and that life will go on for all of us, even if it looks a little different, makes all the difference for me.

Awww heck yes, Mike did good! Seriously, what a year. Absolutely incredible.

Yeah, I'd mostly moved on from watching Vinny near-nightly since he started his hiatus, but watching him see the greatest hits in Vine Worlds and interacting with chat definitely opened the wounds in a bittersweet way.

Still really want him to come back to regular streaming, though.

I didn't watched the whole thing yet but the parts that i was lucky to catch live was disappointing tbh.
Shesez had like sub 100 viewers twich streamer energy and Alpharad was just plain not ready for the stream, but him donating 10k is nice, gonna give him that.
Mike block was great tho.
Too bad a it was overlapping with Jerma stream so much. Was there no way for him to move it a week forward i wonder?

Just gonna throw it out there and say that Hootey seriously fucking rocks. I know during the closing he said that people describe the charity stream as his event and that it's more-so the effort of the community and stuff, but that dude really has been the backbone of every single charity stream nonstop. Dude's got a wife and young kid, a full time job outside of streaming, and yet his still manages to spearhead such a big event in a way that makes it sound effortless, while still showcasing how much time and care goes into it all. Of course the artists and streamers also play a vital role in bringing in the crowds and designing merchandise and everything, but at its core Hoots really knows how to motivate people to get involved with donating and helping others out in general.

Sorry to be such a sap on the farms, but hearing that this might presumably be Hootey's last charity stream made me a little more sad than i'd like to admit. Godspeed, Hoots, wherever life takes ya!

I wish I could have watched Vinny's segment, but I have to get up at 5am for work now. 150k is great and I'm proud of them as usual. I'm also so happy to hear that Vinny is doing better. I love how this plan to take him down actually helped him out lol

Next Redvox album is called Visions

"probably the heaviest album we've done besides blood bagel"

so who ever said the heavy album was coming was 100% correct
I'm so excited for it, Realign really grew on me after some time, but I was always hoping for them to turn to a What Could Go Wrong/Blood Bagel style now that they have much more experience and take themselves a bit more seriously.

Yeah the plan to take him down was a massive fail. He has said recently that if it wasn't for him taking a break from streaming he would have never been able to fix his sleep schedule. He normally would go to sleep at 5 or 6am but now his new bed time is 2am and he's really happy with that.

And not only has his life improved, he still has a huge audience and a lot of support from his friends. There was 13k in the charity stream watching plus another 4k that was watching from his channel. 61k raised in 4 hours from him. You cant cancel people cunts.

Wholeheartedly agree. For something that started out pretty grassroots, manning eight charity streams that has raised at least $1 000 000 is an impressive feat.

But even with streamers like Vin or Joel drawing in the big numbers, or a organisational team and volunteers running the show - I don't think Vinesauce is Hope would've been so successful without someone genuine like Hoots being the heart of it all.

Been rewatching some old content of Vinny and wow I miss him not sidestepping any possible issue. I don't want him to return to full on /v/ shitposting, but his humor is so sanitized now, tailored specifically to the braindead twitch chat that demands a cringe inducing speen joke every few minutes.
When he started playing stuff offline I actually enjoyed having it in the background. Even if it's not old /v/inny, it's still very comfy because he doesn't have to cater to anyone. I guess it's kind of fucked up, but I genuinely would prefer if he would not return to streaming but rather continued prerecording everything.
On a different topic, what's up with Rev? It seems like his views have been steadily decreasing since about 2 years ago. Does he literally not play anything funny anymore?

I think its more to do with what rev's game selection is. All three of the them (vinny, joel, and rev) have certain content types they do that is unique to them.

For Vinny it's corruptions which i don't see many other creators even try to touch.

For Joel its bootlegs, vinewrestle, windows destruction, and doom wads which are the content that he's known for.

For Rev, it seems like it was flash games and horribly messed up Android games. Not exactly a lot of room to work with since flash is kill and 90% of mobile games now are either gatcha games, endless resource sinks, or blatantly ripping one another off.

I really don't know anything about the others outside Vinny and a bit about Joel, but I hope the others don't feel bad they didn't raise near the amount the big guys did (I would)
Even $500 isn't anything to sneeze at for charity. Be proud lads :semperfidelis:

Also fuck, missed it all and forgot about merch. Would have loved to get a shirt or something this year.
