Vine said that was him at 15 when he posted it to chatango. I google imaged it a while back, and that guy might have been some Russian gopnik based on the results, so he could have been memeing. I also got this thread where an anon suggests it's him. https://4archive.org/board/trash/thread/10002132/lets-have-a-jabroni-thread#p10049041
i know that joel tweeted it to vinny like 6+ years ago, but i still dont know if it IS vin, i doubt he was THAT much of a pothead

Funniest fuckin photo ever. Got to admit, it looks similar to Vinny.

Nothing of value would be lost if the booru never came back. Most of the good or interesting stuff was either early on in it's existence or came from Sunday Streams. The rest was basic fanart or weird fanfic/character creation attempts from people desperate to relive Tomodachi Life. I love the Tomodachi Life streams, but in the long run, it was a cancer that caused a weird cascading effect into a lot of other things.

There has been some really, really good artwork on the Booru. I especially enjoyed the art that came out of the CDI Zelda games (particularly this one). I understand where the contempt for it comes from, though. Lots of obviously low effort art, or just plain bad. Maybe a score system on the Booru would help. Just look at the top submissions from the past week or day or whatever instead of everything that gets posted.

The booru has its origins in shitposts though, if youve ever seen the earliest versions of it. Booru art is best when it's purely focused on the games being streamed or memes related to them.
High quality art is fine but I think that's also what attracted the serious art hos and then it became a competition to impress the streamer and get validation. If a voting system was implemented a lot of people know that the art ho/parasocial type pieces would get voted to the top.

Yeah a voting system would just turn into a popularity contest, that's why I think the anonymous vetting team would be a better idea. Then at least there's no one to complain to if your art doesn't get chosen. You could still have favortism and bias I guess, but there's not much you can really do about that. Vinny could even have a mini stream just dedicated to showing chosen art once a week, so he's not constantly nagging at yam hours how there's too much art and his brain can't fully appreciate or even process it.

I'd say art submissions themselves should just be anonymous, even though people would likely recognize specific artists' artstyles anyway, but then you run into the problem of possible plagiarism. Though, you could have it anonymous to everyone but Vinny and the vetting team I guess, if the Booru allows that sort of specificity. Then they could see and acknowledge the artists, but not draw attention to them. I mean, the segment's about Vinny reacting to art, not to the artist. And it's not an art show to make them feel special, they could just post to twitter for that.

Quick rundown?
Have you ever watched his content? The actual show is interesting and all but he sometimes stops to have his sadass pity party moments about how he doesn't have as many subscribers as he wants, or nobody is buying his plushies, or he isn't getting enough viewers. It's pretty clear the guy started out doing it for fun but then quickly became obsessed with meaningless numbers

Rare Joel pic from the thread linked above. Looks quite Finngolian, I'd say.

You know how Joel always said he's shaving his head because it's much less stress than washing his long hair during the summer, or that it gets all sweaty...

But it's so fucking obvious he has male pattern baldness. Like, you cannot hide that fivehead. At least he's been shaving it off instead of going the Vinny wig way.

Where did you think Vinny was getting the wigs? Joel is a generous man <3

Here's part 2 of that, I'm not sure if it's in that thread archive since some of the thumbnails don't load, but they work if I manually click on it. Joel's decorated like a boy scout.

So if nobody has yet to remember chatango drama, do any lurkers remember some of the weirder stuff on the vinetalk forum? They used to have a "post your butt!" thread, which was intended to be goofy, there hadn't been serious thirst for the streamers at that point. There were only a couple butts that made an impression on me. Vinny's was slim, but his jeans were a little baggy, so it wasn't as good as it could be. Then Ima posted her's in pajama shorts, with some kind of blushing emoji. She had some meat on her ass, wasn't bad. There was actually an incident where a different woman posted a couple pics of her ass in a thong, which was too sexy for the thread's premise, and she left the community because people teased or said it was too much. Probably had some "admirers" too, thottery never changes.
