His recent Skyward Sword streams actually have some funny moments in them, probably because Skyward Sword is technically a remake of an old game and his old game streams are the best in my opinion.

Anyways I wonder if they'll bring back VineClassics. There's still so many old streams that I'd love to see in full (like the first Shovelware Showcase). Also do anyone remember when Joel tried to do a Hardcore Friday of Somari and failed?

This is a phenomenon almost entirely unique to Zelda games. Zelda fans love Zelda so much that any flaws they find are amplified and become bigger issues than they would be in any other game. Extreme love = extreme nitpicking, there's no stopping it. I would know, I do the exact same autistic shit.

He's not going to retire. He will more than likely return to streaming after the Charity event. No coincidence that it was pushed back to the very end of the summer. Around the time he feels comfortable coming back. He has said multiple times that if he streams it will be after the summer. Looking at a possible September return with a very reduced streaming schedule. Which is good for him. Its a change that he really needed.

I also wonder who they're going to pull in to take Ima's charity slots, last year she had 2. Would be cool if they can bring in Mike. But my guess is that one of Vinny mods is going to take her place.

I bet Mike could do it. He's been getting used to not screaming as much after he got an apartment with somebody, I'm positive that he could put his best foot forward and do something great!

Agree; I know Vinny's coming back to streaming, he won't retire. He's just too far deep now. However, as someone who sees him as a human, some part of me thinks he probably would be better off retiring. But I'm also glad he won't. He might find better ways to deal with chat and his mental health after this much-needed break.

Looking forward to the Charity stream, chat will be going at mach 15

they extended it because of "new super legit" information. i ended up speaking to the person running this Tumblr, after I said "call the proper authorities instead of larping on the internet" they responded with ACAB

I would love for Mike to get a slot. I have been tuning into him more now that Vinny has taken a hiatus from streaming and greatly enjoy it.
 
Laughing at some retard in Joel's Masters of the Universe stream calling everyone incels and crying because nobody likes the show. You can tell who actually watches Joel and who has just latched onto him since Vinny left because people were recommending him the fagbait Sheera show. Anyone who has a quarter of a brain cell and has watched more than ten minutes of a Joel stream would know that's the absolute opposite of his taste.

He gave it a 5, I skipped to the end because holy shit was it boring. Most of the stream he was just sitting quietly and making the jokes he wished were in the show, super low energy the whole time. Considering the show is 0% everything Joel likes about He-Man and 100% crap I'm sure he was mostly bored.
 
Unrelated to the Joel discussion, but has anyone else been minorly frustrated with how seemingly slow and uninteresting Vinny's Subnut Below Zero surface sections have been? I'm sure it's a combination of both Vin and the game itself, but it fails to capture even minor interest as background noise. Vinny himself has been noting how little he's been enjoying the surface segments.

I gave up trying to pay attention to him getting lost for a while and swapped to 2x speed. I'm not sure if it was because of this or the game never did anything to show it, but the big ice worm appearing seemed to have no fanfare whatsoever. I'll concede and say I probably missed its introduction due to the rest of the video being so boring but I didn't even notice any significant reaction from Vinny. Just a calm acceptance that there's now a big ice worm chasing him if he doesn't put down the HL2 thumper every so often. Really highlights a lot of the game's shortcomings.

I think you're right about that, almost all Joel fans who acted that way ran off after Joel made an "I identify as an attack helicopter" joke. Joel is just not PC at all, and that's why I like him.
While I like Vinny, I feel like he kinda enables an audience like that by being mostly clean in terms of what he says on stream, but I give him credit for not acknowledging political shit in his chat
 
Good thing Microsoft dropped new version of Windows just in time for Joel's charity stream.
 
While we wait for the charity stream and for Vinny to fix his computer problems, why don’t we discuss what is truly important. wig or bad haircut?
