I'm honestly surprised to see him put out a video so soon. He did sound a little nervous in the beginning but I'm happy he's back to playing games again and cracking jokes. Looking forward to the card opening video too. And its great to hear it from him that he's doing good and is in fact enjoying his time off. He did also mention all the support he got from the fans kind of overwhelmed him and I'm not surprised since he doesnt like attention like that. Good to know that he's aware of all the support though.

Kinda weird. Here's my honest take on this that some people won't enjoy:

Vinny will be gone for MUCH longer than 2 months. Twitch VODs are automatically deleted after 60 days, and we are on day 23 of this drama. All the highlighted streams are VODs currently on his channel.

I know Fullsauce exists, but there are some people that watch via Twitch VODs to get the full chat experience. Because of this, I think Vinny wants SOMETHING to be there when you visit the Twitch page.

This combined with what Mike said on his stream, we may sadly be looking at a June return at the earliest. :(

Quoting this to say you were spot on./ regarding him streaming on Twitch
Oh this is great lmao. Nice to know Vin is at the point where he can joke about stuff like this. No doubt his mind went straight to what happened with him. I wonder what his mods/friends were saying in the chat when he got to this part lol

This sums up my feelings on the return of the Pizzapasta LEGEND himself. God bless.
Edit: Also holy shit that clip is scarily funny considering how accurate it parallels the whole situation, even down to the days.

So glad Vinny is doing ok and that he's alive and well, hopefully he returns for Sunday stream (React with Optimistic all you want, I wanna be a Bloomer just this once)

Desert and Ross left these comments on the Rimworld video. Love how Vin friends stood by him through all of this and continues to stand by him. I'm sure one of the big reasons why he's doing good and felt well enough to make a video is because of the support from his friends.

Desert seems pretty down about it on Twitter and I think we got further confirmation now that this video is out.

About Vinny. Yeah, I'll be honest, I'm going to miss the streams. Knowing I could tune in every day I wanted, even on Holidays was something quite weird but also very comforting. I will miss that but knowing he's doing well and fine is much, much more important than my own viewer pleasure.

I feel sad that all of this happened the way it did though. When he said he is not comfortable with looking at art with him on it I felt kinda bad. I assume his self esteem is pretty low at the moment and he is having trouble seeing himself in an "external" way.

Regardless of what is going on, I hope he gets the support he needs and that he manages to pickup on the confidence and feel better over time. He is a great man and doesn't deserve what happened.

For now, I'm totally fine with just the videos. It's a good way to know he's there but also know he's doing fine.

tbh gonna miss making the occasional booru art and seeing all the cool ones others have made. aside from some very (bad) weird ones, the art section was a chill way to cap off the night.

This made me smile. I was really concerned when Ross was brought up in the doc, since it was nice to see their friendship grow over the past year. Such a dog move for accusers to try to drive a wedge between them for their own narrative, and obviously so.

Vin's got some based friends.

I'm just glad to hear that Mr. PizzaPasta is doing okay. While not having streams is a little sad, being able to hear from the man himself on occasion and knowing he's taking some time for self-health makes me happy at least.

That update at the end of the video is so bittersweet.

First and foremost, I'm glad Vinny is finding happiness outside of the internet and is realizing he needs to be away from it to fell fulfilled. It seems like he's struggled with balancing this aspect of his life over the years, and I'm glad to hear that maybe something positive came out of something so awful. And honestly, perhaps its a wake-up call for a lot of his audience. Don't cling to the internet; its an awful, fickle place, and it isn't worth letting it consume your life for brief moments of gratification and joy. Focus on what's closest and tangible to you, and you'll generally be a lot happier and more fulfilled.

But: I'd be lying if I said I wasn't saddened by the thought that the days of daily Binyot are quite possibly in the rearview mirror. I genuinely don't think there was anyone better at being a daily streamer than him: no annoying gimmick, no obnoxious sub notifications, and he played a variety of games over the course of the week rather than just GTAV or Amogus. He was just a man talking to his audience daily about Star Trek, daily happenings in his life, Star Trek, his favorite music...did I mention Star Trek? It was wholesome.

It sounds pathetic, but there was something beautiful about how even when your day was shit, you could come home, put on a stream, and things would be just a little bit better after hearing about Capussi and Meat noises. Personally, I used his VODs for study breaks and for something to put on during meals. I'll miss that more than I'd like to admit. And if we ever do get back to the point of even getting multiple streams a week, I won't be taking them for granted.

At the end of the day, as long as Vinny is happy, the stream's aren't all that important. And I'm glad we'll still be getting videos from time to time as he tries to work his way back up to being live. Perhaps its a bit corny, but I think we should all take a page out of his book and use what time we spent on his streams on something else that's important in our lives.

Like catching up on that anime backlog that's been piling up for years. :story:

I'm really fucking going to miss the old days, man. I don't begrudge Vinny prioritizing his own health, obviously I want the best for him, but this is by far the saddest possible conclusion from this whole event. I sincerely doubt we'll ever return to daily pizza pasta streams. I'll miss that part of my life, I'm sure a lot of others will too.

Honestly? I think him quitting streaming right now is probably for the best. He did it for oh so many years by now, and his audience changed alot since he started, I don't blame the guy for not feeling any joy from daily streaming anymore, the crowd can't take the joke sometimes, plus with the modern day linguo-gestapo I would bet it doesn't feel nice to constantly think about your words to try to not turn your audience on yourself for spontaneous spicy opinion \ word.

Good call to stay off social media in general as well, probably isn't nice to have internet deciding what personality you have and constantly art-bombing you.

Very much this. With his audience so dependent on a funny duck noises man to the point of having depression and wanting to kill themselves if he commented on their art wrong ( these people do exist, sadly ).
I hope this will make the rest of the team re-align their life priorities too and maybe even get further from streaming a bit, that shit ain't good for your mental health in the long run i would imagine.

Just got around to watch the video.. and yeah, glad Vinny is doing ok, but hearing that he might be done with streaming does break my heart a little. After so many years it's gonna be hard not to have the daily dose of the pizza jabroni. I'm just glad we will still get the occasional video and most of all that Vinny finds his way again and takes all the time he needs to get back to where he wants. Godspeen you funny pizza man.
