You know what, yeah. Sorry. I just saw someone else's post about the incident of a missing person. I get way too autistic with ancestry and history of people.

And, considering that Vinny did change his playlist a bit, I wonder IF he is viewing this thread. You don't just suddenly have more positive songs out of nowhere, after someone recommends putting more songs on there. Similarly related, if you ARE checking this place out, I'd recommend Reel Big Fish's album, Candy Coated Fury. Songs that involve heart break and disgust and distrust, but with a more cynical, nihilistic, and oddly upbeat twist.

And, I apologize if an old wound was opened up, even if you aren't viewing this thread.

To bring out some more positivity, I wanna say, I remember Southbird being an editor and he had some scrapped content aptly named "Table Scraps." I guess that inspired "best of months" which sadly slowed down in the middle of last year.
 
With the absence of Vinny, it's really helped me branch out and watch Joel's streams. I've more or less replaced Vinny's VODs with his FMV Friday streams as streams to fall asleep to.

I've really been sleeping on him for a long time. For all of his faults (he's got a bit of them), he has a lot of qualities I really enjoy. Vinny more or less does whatever (besides Sunday Stream), but Joel has themes like Hardcore/FMV Friday, Spooky Saturday, and such that really makes tuning in for one special.

Glad he's been updating the playlist more regularly, dudes got good taste and I've enjoyed putting it on in the background while I do other stuff. I also wonder what he thinks of the new Mars Volta demos that got released a few days ago since I know he's a big fan of those guys.
 
on the subject of music, the closest interaction I've had with (maybe) Vinny is when Spotify broke street date on one of Red Vox' songs due to Timezones,

Red Vox seemed chill with it tho and seemed to appreciate the feedback

seeing '13 new videos' pop up under vinnys channel on twitch nearly gave me a heart attack, and then think it was a bug
 
After reading what I just read I hope Vinny never comes back.

There's so many people concerned about his well being but people actually become happier when they leave the internet and this thread just gave me cancer. But Im retarded I forgot where I was.

Not gonna lie, I wish I had been there for this scoot moment as it was unfolding cause it must've been absolutely mental. Though at the same time even when trying to pay attention I often find mind my mind wandering off when nothing much is happening. So basically I remember now why for the most part I didn't really watch these Rimworld streams.

True, but I dislike him and his streams. He should post his thoughts, he doesn’t have the skill to carry on a show.

Also, he went into this whole thing woefully unprepared.


Vinny needed/needs to just settle with one woman who has no ties to his community or just use hookup apps and never utilize his small celebrity to get ass again.

I honestly have thought due to his depression, he could be driven to off himself due to this.

People have done so for less.

Vinny isn’t just unhappy, the guy is clinically depressed. Sickly, from what I’ve heard and read.

So, yes, whores clawing for internet attention by trying to ruin his life in any way can drive him to suicide.

Better men (no offense to speen) have done it for less from worse women.

Yeah but unless you know the person there's nothing you can do. It's not like streamers are your friends, and we know he has friends/family that are saying he is OK.

Obviously people have friends and family and commit suicide but, what I think what said still is the best way to think about it.

Edit: He had to leave twitter awhile ago too but for regular reasons like twitter being twitter lol. Which makes everyone miserable.

You guys just dumb upvoted me for saying the guy you don't want to kill himself won't kill himself because he has friends and family... i guess I am dumb because nigga wat

Oh and when I was saying I hope he never comes back its because he's so private and people found out about murder and his mother's obituary...

God, I decided to rewatch both Retsupurae and Joel's streams of Harvester and FUCK what I wouldn't give to see Vinny play this game. The utter bewilderment, and the chat's reaction to the edgy 90's music. It would be incredible.

Watching a random Joel stream, I did come across a comment of his I didn't like. Someone reccomended Hypnospace Outlaw to him and said Vinny played it and loved it. Joel then jokingly said he wouldn't play it and went on a tangent where he misunderstood the entire situation/question (Another thing he often doss that I hate. Language barrier?) about playing games because someone else played them, and like 2 years after the stream he still hasn't played it. Shame, it's such a Joel kind of game... :(
