Without Vinny headlining I dont see them coming close to the amount they raised last year. For this event to be a success they need him to participate and I dont see why Vinny wouldn't. By July, he should be fine.

I dont think he'll be able to do the charity incentives from last year in time though. He still needs to do the bean computer, Mario Party w/ friends and Ring Fit.

Unless they got a bigtime guest like Jerma or Ross (extremely possible), the charity stream would not be able to draw with just Joel headlining alone. Vinewrestle is legit one of my favorite streams of the entire year, even more than Vinny's streams, but that would sadly not be enough without Vinny .
 
While I miss Vinny, I just hope that he is truly doing okay and this shit hasn't made him become disenchanted with streaming but I am glad he is finally taking a break for himself that isn't two days.

He's been around for longer than that: he was one of the founders of DatStream, which was a streaming group in the same vein as VidyaVidya and others whose origin was /v/.
Vinesauce (Vidya) is another example, but DatStream predates it; indeed, Vinny had received help from GPM in setting up Vinesauce's original website, whose layout closely resembled that of GPM's own stream. A reference to his involvement is still available on this page (warning: rapidly flashing background). What's more, in prehistoric times the vinesaucevidya.com URL redirected to the DatStream website, on which it was originally hosted as datstream.net/vinesauce.

Anyone remember the Sunday stream where some dude managed to not only slip Tron Bonne hentai in, but subtlely warn Vinny ahead of time but he was too distracted to notice? I wonder if Twitch cops held that against him all this time, leading to that Blade Runner Booba temp ban.

What they didn't mention is he wiped literally every other channel in the discord when that came up. The viewers were not happy, plus those in the know were reminding them of the charity theft etc. GeePM can't let that be known after all.
 
Best case senario: this helps shift the community away from the hugbox it's become. Can't remember the last time I actually went to the main website to check all of the streamers. Vinesauce was honestly best when they were still using chatango. fite me.
