What's the longest amount of time Vin's been without streaming?

I guess he's feeling somewhat better since he took the time to update his Red Vox playlist on Spotify. Maybe I'm mixing him up with someone else but I think I remember him saying that listening to sad songs helps him feel better. And I assume he's been listening to a lot of music and even writing his own during the past 2 weeks. Highly doubt he'll stream tonight but I hope he's back before May.

I think the last time he took an extended break from streaming was when his mom died in 2012, and that must have lasted a week or a week and a half at most. We're now over two weeks of radio silence, and if we're going off the idea that he's purely taking emotional time off at this point after the legal stuff has been settled, then it's safe to say it's probably gonna be a while before we see a stream from him- let alone hear any word from him directly. I hope I can be proven wrong, though.

agreed, this is the first major nontroversy that Vinny has been faced with in his 10+ years streaming(that i know of anyway), if anything its probably more of a shock to him, but he'll come out of it fine

more popular/well known streamers/youtubers have done things *actually way worse* and come off fine on the other side (ie ninja, pewdiepie, dan avidan (not confirmed but you get the deal), james charles, the list goes on

i think vinnys just worried that is fans are gonna turn their backs on the vinesauce brand

I guess that's why MOTHER 3 hit Vinny in some personal levels, hope he remembers all the wonderful games he's played like those in hopes of getting past this new age cancer media that can betray/cancel anybody at any time.

Lawyers are involved, so it could be a few months just to sort legal shit out. Vinny doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would give up streaming forever over an issue like this.

It doesn't seem practical at all from his perspective anyway. Even if he wanted to stop, what would he do for work? Good luck getting hired anywhere when you've been out of the workforce for 6+ years or however long it's been since he left his previous job.

The thing is that GeePM was always a pretty comfy stream for the most part, at least on his fullstream channel. I was actually enjoying his Coin Game streams recently. All he had to do is stay out of this shit and do his thing, which he was getting pretty good at doing until now. And in GPM's defense he wasn't some rando: Rev said one time around the time GPM joined VS that GPM has been around since like 2012.

Even I don't give a fuck about him anymore, but I still think that GPM just has a tendency to get caught up in things and him leaving the internet will probably be good for him.

Dear God I completely forgot about that. Like the mod creator had a lot of enthusiasm for vinesauce and wario ware but he was just a tad too autistic to catch the magic of an entertaining mod like the RE2 mod nor the fun of Wario Ware micro games (Not all of the micro games were bad but Vinny was NOT enthusiastic/having fun with most of them). Don't get me wrong, not ever mod nor fan game is a fucking master piece, some more obnoxious than others but that wario ware mod was just all kinds of awkward second hand embarrassment.

Somehow I avoided this disaster, but I think I'll be keeping it that way based on said consensus, It's bad enough when the stream content is awkward, but I really can't sit through Vinny having an unbearable/frustrating/awkward time.
