The whole reacting in shock/anger/disbelief towards someone who disagrees/doesn't believe you is retarded. Wanting to be sure about something, know the full facts, or sitting on the fence about an issue is just how normal humans think. Why can't they wrap their shared braincell around that? On the other hand, I would be pretty annoyed if some glue eater like Kipernicus started raping my twitter notifications going "bullshit! slander! fuck you! false-flagger!" ...especially when I'm one of the chicks whose story actually supports Vinny.
And the seething they do when people mention a lawyer or legal stuff. What else is he supposed to do? Happily admit to everything and get #cancelled? Throw himself to the wolves? Make a sobby youtube apology video? It would be awesome if he could just ignore it and have everything die down, but you have to take allegations like "he gave me an STD knowingly" pretty seriously. If you don't, these retards immediately think it's an admission of guilt.
It's so brain-meltingly infuriating how shallow they are, yet they get off on tweeting shit like "durrr vinesauce's fans are a cult they're so smooth brained why dont they believe me reeee". Have some common sense, you hatchet-face looking cunts.
So I wanted to talk about this mentality a little bit, at least the tentative conclusion I've come to. You know the whole left-wing Twitter obsession with comparing everything to Harry Potter? It's like that, but without the degree of separation implied by referencing fiction as compared to proceeding with life normally. Essentially, in their minds (and hopefully they don't literally think about it in these terms, I'm assuming this is a subconscious activity) they have decided that they are the protagonists of the story of life, and the people around them are either minor characters or homogenous blobs representing some trope or antagonistic/positive force. They can't wrap their shared braincell around the idea that people might be anxious about believing something ridiculous because it's not a part of the script of life that they've made for themselves.
Consider their reaction to hooking up with Vinny Threeshrooms. To us, the idea that it would have turned into them walking down the aisle with him in Spring or whatever is ridiculous. Vinny's supported by tens of thousands, beloved by hundreds of thousands, known by millions, and most importantly, isn't looking for anything like that. It's pretty clear from what information has been shared that he was upfront about that, and I know there's some implicit danger in assuming this about exterior appearance, but he never gave off vibes of wanting to settle down. (I think he even talked about the idea of being in a committed relationship and how little it appealed to him in a few streams?)
But that wasn't part of their script.
They know they're special by virtue of being themselves, and the idea of other people being special too (or maybe just having different goals, perspectives, etc.) doesn't parse. In their minds, meeting them would be the moment that changed the life of Sauce-a on my Balls. It's what their script says. And why wouldn't it? They're both quirky! They're both laughing at the same memes! They and the projection of him as the individual who streams under the moniker of "Vinesauce" are clearly made for each other! Just so long as you leave that Vinny guy out of it.
That Vinny guy who lost his mother at a young age. Whose real-life relationships were, for most of his life, tumultuous at best. Who managed to find not only an outlet, but a career and a future in doing what he loved for rapidly-swelling crowds of relatively like-minded people. Who managed to save his best friend by virtue of occupying that bizarre niche and bringing his friend along with him, helping him likewise find his place in the world in a place adjacent to it. Who became beloved because, despite everything, he still brought a genuine passion and love for what he did to so many, who were likewise inspired and inspired him further. Who ended up stewarding this wild, amazing community on the Internet, who not only spoke to but provided a safe space to listen to people who maybe were very much like he was in his darkest moments, who positively shaped the world by virtue of that and donating millions of dollars to charity. Who maybe didn't want to have the same things as the people accusing him wanted, even if they did share some mutual interests, and even if they did, for a fleeting moment, share physical intimacy with one another.
And that, I think, is at the root of these accusations. To them, I think they really do think that they were tricked. That the shattering of their innocence when the reality didn't match the fiction was tantamount in their perspective to the grooming and advantage-taking of children, as insane as that sounds. They, in their minds, aren't the Cho Changs or the [insert name of minor female character in Harry Potter here]'s of the world. Nor are they like Ginny Weasley or Hermione Granger. They're as close as the world can get to having those fantastic characters, and for whatever reason, this was their moment to prove it, when the awkwardness of a one-night stand gave way to Love's First Kiss and a fairytale romance. There's nothing wrong with being inspired by fictional characters, but I'd say that they diminished others in the promotion of themselves as being like those characters they loved, with the terrible outcome that I think any of us could have predicted when fiction careened into reality.
They expected The Boy Who Lived. They got Vinny. And they'll never forgive him for that.
As for the accusations and continual doubling down, I'd say that's when their script changed. No longer was Vinny their Prince Charming. He was now the Satan figure of their lives, guilty of deceptive sex by virtue of not secretly being the dream-like fulfillment they craved. And when you have such a figure, any accusation is too good for him. The ends will justify the means, those ends being protecting others from listening to Vinny and considering him as a human being. When they hear "believe women", their minds immediately think that it's an implicit thing, that making accusations qualifies one for victimhood, access to an online army, and the immediate surrender and destruction of their target, rather than what more rational people would think: That it means we should give a space and opportunity for those affected to speak and judge them and all other involved parties as fairly as we can.
And that's where this behavior that we consider irrational and wild comes from. By virtue of not believing them, we have allied ourselves not only with Vinny Morningstar, we have also allied ourselves with forces against feminism and human dignity as a whole. It's because their perspective on what those things should be is so twisted, but the end result is about the same. There's no space for compromise when you're fighting the forces of darkness like that. There's no room to consider their thoughts or feelings because, dammit, they're not as special or real as you are. You either win, or you get crushed and subsumed into their evil perspective, that you might not be the most special person in the world by virtue of being you and that you're subject to the same facets of life as normal people are. I think this happens to most people when they're much younger, and I'm not sure how it's not happening to so many people until they're in their twenties and thirties.
And then there are those who seem more like they're opportunistically supporting those crusaders (GPM, Redbard) for their own reasons, which is shameful, but for more implicitly recognizable reasons. Much like an adult shouldn't let their child jump off the roof of a house with an umbrella so they can fly, they shouldn't have been supporting these individuals in their crusade to maintain their flagging belief in themselves as reality broke it down. That shit's pretty frankly pathetic. I can understand those who just wanted to help a mutual friend going through something like this, but while it's good to go through life with an open mind, that doesn't mean you should entirely give up on trying to think for yourself.
TL;DR:
Their anger against Vinny is due to him not following their mental idea of what he's supposed to be or how he's supposed to act, which I would say is predicated upon him as a way to show the world who they are, rather as being a person in his own right. Their lashing out in such a way is irrational and appears unhinged because it is irrational and unhinged. Whether it be because they genuinely believe what I just laid out or because they saw (or were tricked into supporting those who saw) an opportunity to destroy Vinny for whatever profits they imagine they'd reap. This whole thing is pathetic, stupid, and genuinely harmful, and this post has gotten way too long already.
Have not posted to the Farms in years because I've had nothing to say but returned to lurking here once this Vinny drama surfaced. Fuck whoever did this honestly, it all seems so petty and needless. Hope that the mastermind behind this, if there is one, gets brought to justice. Whatever that justice may be. I already miss the dopamine hits from getting my chat messages read or when funnyman says the funnywords...![]()
Yep! I'm in the same boat. Life throws some pretty weird curveballs sometimes.
