Jumping on the doubt train here, changing text and all that crapHuh that's funny
Assuming this is even real, deleting a twitter message from your side doesn't delete it from the receiver's side.Huh that's funny
Start readin' then. Page 244 has you covered. Bottom line -- all of this is bullshit, and your VC compatriot is hopped-up on acid.gonna have to stick with sources: dude trust me on this one.
even if I wanted to provide evidence I have none. was told this in a voice chat while playing a game. no proof of any form here. could be complete bullshit because I was told this by someone who hates him anyways. Edited my post to say may since this is a secondary hand rumor from a secondary hand rumor and as unsurprised as I would be, it's not fair to be saying "sources dude trust me" is fine when it is geepm and not vinny
knowing them they're posting in this thread right now though
I feel like that's the point of the message. Showing how easy it is to manipulate these things.Jumping on the doubt train here, changing text and all that crap

He's spoken a couple of times, on-stream, that as a performer, he's heard from the Foo Fighters to look for the people in the crowd who aren't enjoying the performance. So you do everything in your power to MAKE them enjoy it. That has to be the most self-destructive mindset to put yourself in, even if it's with the best of intentions. You gotta realize that there will ALWAYS be people that aren't happy. They're critics, and really bad ones at that, too. So do it for yourself, and the people that enjoy it. NOT for them.Unfortunately while the supporters are loud, when you're a negative self-loathing person (which Vinny seems to be in a sense) the people against you are always going to seem louder. If I were a friend of Vinny's I'd be keeping an eye on him for a while.
I know how to use inspect element too!Huh that's funny
That was precisely my point. Regardless if any of this shit is real or not Vinny is guilty of nothing. If these girls slept with him thinking they were going to get something else other than the shit he told them he wanted, they're retarded, not victims.I feel like that's the point of the message. Showing how easy it is to manipulate these things.
Either that or obvious bait seeing that this account joined today.
Ill add on to to this and say that I've seen people argue that this is no different to how rockstars throughout the 60's-90's had groupies with them on tour and stuff, yet it actually is completely different. There wasn't social media or para-social relationships to musicians back then. Like, if you're a groupie in Los Angeles for a band that's touring for a year, you're only ever gonna see them during that night when they perform, and your intent is only for sex and that's it. Maybe if they liked you enough, they'd take you through a few neighboring venues in the same state, but ultimately unless they had your phone number: you were nothing more than a piece of ass to them, and that was the norm. Sure there was criticism back then, but just about any groupie knew what they were getting into and didn't expect anything more than that from said musician. If the context of your relationship is solely of a content creator and a fan, I'd say so.
The term parasocial relationship gets thrown around a lot, but it's true.
If the only context you talk to this fan is your brand and public persona, chances are there's gonna be baggage there. Chances are they're attracted to the idea of you, the persona you've displayed to them in public. Like I said, it's like being starstruck. "Holy shit, Vinny from Vinesauce wants to fuck me!"
There's a reason groupie culture is so toxic. It's not really fulfilling for both parties involved.
Now, it's different if they start as a fan and you two form a genuine connection and bond. I'm not opposed to actually getting into serious relationships with someone who is a fan. It just really depends on the case and how far into the weird parasocial shit they are.
Because if they are, you get shit like this entire situation.
Good, and good job everyone who pounced on it immediately, remember to stay on your toes. That was precisely my point. Regardless if any of this shit is real or not Vinny is guilty of nothing. If these girls slept with him thinking they were going to get something else other than the shit he told them he wanted, they're retarded, not victims.

The problem is there are also a lot of fans willing to admit that they don't know him personally so anything is possible. But again them consenting to and wanting to have sex with him and him soliciting sex are two different things. You can't just make up your mind eight years later that it was a mistake and that he some how had power over you and forced you to do it because he's a streamer.Ill add on to to this and say that I've seen people argue that this is no different to how rockstars throughout the 60's-90's had groupies with them on tour and stuff, yet it actually is completely different. With streamers and youtubers, you have their Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, emails etc. to reach them by, and in Vinny's instance, the groupie culture that was more prominent decades ago can't really be feasible in his case since he is so accessible through various means. There's too much content of him out there that makes his audience feel like they know him based off the 4 or 5 hours he decides to steam... which isn't that much time at all. Like you said, there can be an attraction to the idea of the streamer if you're merely a viewer, but these days it's super risky getting involved with fans because of that disillusion. Has it happened to every YouTuber? Probably? But they'd have to be pretty lucky to find a mature enough viewer to mess around with and set the boundaries of the "relationship" being strictly for sex- including little to no emotional attachment to one another, without things getting misconstrued during that time. That being said, people in Vinny's position could probably pull off a few successful hookups, but they'd have to be super careful, especially nowadays.
Why is Red Bard involved in this?
