Back to Vinny though, good for him getting a lawyer and I hope they force some kind of recant and apology out of the accuser(s). Have groupies ever considered maybe not having sex with e-celebs? That it might possibly be a terrible idea that will only hurt them? I don't know where these 19-25s get the idea that they're going to meet their favorite streamer/youtuber for sex and be whisked away to a lifelong romance as though they're the only girl for someone with a million-something fanbase and a thousand other e-thots messaging them every day.

No, you can never hold groupies/women on the internet accountable for anything. No matter the age, they're perfect, sexless pure beings with the brain power and maturity of children, who can do no wrong unless it's to other women.

They can never be held to any level of responsibility for their sexual actions, ever. There's always an excuse. They were "star-struck" and "groomed" as legal adults by a guy they only wanted to fuck for his fame.

Also, never ask how they were conscientious enough to record audio of their alleged conversions with e-celebs in question despite being so "star-struck" and "manipulated." Totally not suspicious at all, not suspicious in any way whatsoever.

If the context of your relationship is solely of a content creator and a fan, I'd say so.
The term parasocial relationship gets thrown around a lot, but it's true.
If the only context you talk to this fan is your brand and public persona, chances are there's gonna be baggage there. Chances are they're attracted to the idea of you, the persona you've displayed to them in public. Like I said, it's like being starstruck. "Holy shit, Vinny from Vinesauce wants to fuck me!"
There's a reason groupie culture is so toxic. It's not really fulfilling for both parties involved.
Now, it's different if they start as a fan and you two form a genuine connection and bond. I'm not opposed to actually getting into serious relationships with someone who is a fan. It just really depends on the case and how far into the weird parasocial shit they are.
Because if they are, you get shit like this entire situation.

Do the accusers/victims get a letter that they're being sued and can either comply or die admit publicly they were pretending to be retarded?

The audio showing evidence of being altered in any way/shape/form makes it suspicious, regardless if vinny's section was or was not edited.
You'd think somebody trying to make these claims would understand how audio evidence works, then again this person picked one of the most functionally bizarre nest of hornets to kick.

That's not a good comparison, because that assumes that the fans and Vinesauce are on the same level work-wise, it'd be more like a manager getting together with an employee.

I was in this situation before with a bitter former employer. tl;dr They tried to sue, I lawyered up and got a C&D sent, they immediately backed off and ate lawyer fees.

In most cases, it ends there. If it goes to a suit, the wheels get moving to get affidavits from AT&T, Twitter, Google, etc for the usual. Private dicks start to look into each person per the course for discovery. The risk of dirty laundry being aired moves both parties to settle and the matter is forgotten, or it goes to court. These matters never make it to court because its difficult to get a judge to care about a libel suit, and because actual libel suits are costly, bitter, and damning for everyone involved.

It's more like a manager getting together with a customer. Vinny had no control over these women in any sense.
