I've also included the vocaroo. Goodnight.

Thank you! This audio clip was helpful.

A friend told me to post my exploration of the clip here. I don't know what's been discussed and i barely understand the situation except it's likely been a shitshow on the part of accuser.
My understanding of the audio clip is, the female recorded it. There was one male(?) She deleted part of audio where she talked(why? very convenient when someone finds splices,).
I decided to analyze the clip because it's something basic i can do and shouldn't require context to the situation given that it's self contained to the clip itself(i also didn't know the person releasing this audio claimed she made, splices but i'm here now). In speed running, one of the methods they use to catch cheaters is by looking at audio clips using a spectrogram view. This lets them visually see odd changes in audio. I used audacity for this, starting from the end and working my way to the start of audio. What i found were sections of audio where background noise was missing, suggesting someone did a splice, and poorly lined up the audio files.

Format is MM:SS.MSms i.e. 59:59.99ms
00:11.68ms
00:36.56ms
00:52.84ms
01:12.05ms
01:38.11ms
01:45.70ms
02:05.51ms
02:28.25ms
02:51.54ms
02:59.58ms
03:24.54ms
05:00.12ms
05:23.66ms
05:40.33ms

This is what a normal part looks like
vince_audio_spec_01_normal.png

What we expect to see is static of red and blue dots as we seen here. Up at the top, we see chunks of gray, but that can be ignored unless it's a column. Red indicates someone is talking, while blue is background noise.

First set of splices in reverse order
vince_audio_spec_02_splices.png
vince_audio_spec_02_a_censor_beep.png

This isn't nefarious but we need to cover it. This part of the video is where they censor the name and give a dial tone. It's the only time i found with this pattern.
vince_audio_spec_02_b_500ms_no_noise.png

That gray column is dead air. No background noise. It last for about 100ms, and it's barely audible while looking at this graph. Given the conversation between the two splices, i don't think anything was edited. If i had to guess, i think this splice was created to isolate the female's clip so they could add whatever distortion they did, and in the process the right hand side clip got moved or the left hand side shrunk by 100ms in a 23s and 400ms section. In software, you'd have to notice a 1 pixel size difference it's that slight.

vince_audio_spec_03_hard_splice.png

This is where the splices start getting weird and possibly manipulative. Remember i'm going through these last to first. Lets start with the conversation and you really need to listen to the audio yourself not my abridge subtitles. I'm going to listen from 4:53.0 to 5:32.0 so we have context before and after two spices. This will cover this splice and the first one i showed.
>Male: I don't eat, i don't sleep, i get really fucked up
>Splice
>Female: I know i'm not the only person you slept with.
>Female: You should have this conversation with someone else.
>Male: With whom?
>Female: I know *Dial tone*
>Splice
>Female: She was message me saying "has vinny talked to you because he stopped talking to me"
This conversation (don't rely on my subtitles) does not sound natural. It sounds like three conversation or topics being dressed up as one. They're very close but we go from "Male:i'm fucked up" to "Female:you should talk to someone" to "Female:she's annoying me" and it's only at these splices where the disjointment happens. There is something else of note. I think we hear the females voice unedited at this splice. Left had clip, on the end, you see a smattering of red. This sounds like someone was breathing, then nothing. The interesting thing about the female is, she makes an audible breath when she start talking. The cut off breath is at the 5:00.0 mark. An example female breathing at 5:01.0 mark and 5:07.4 mark. I think it's clear at least some part of the conversation was cut off even if it was dead air.

vince_audio_spec_04_conversation_change___HUH.png

Notice how the red parts get darker and larger between the two splices? That's because either the call quality improved; these are two different calls; or i misunderstand the situation and these are two different males.

vince_audio_spec_05_really_odd.png

Ignore the Vince in the labels. For some reason i was thinking one of them was called Vince. It's the male in the conversation.
This is another instances where three clips of audio don't sound like one conversation. In this, i think it's easier to tell by the voice itself that these clips don't line up. Starting from the 2:21.0 - 3:12.0
>Male 2: The conversation on what we did should be private.
>Splice
>Male 2: The STD thing was stupid
>Male 2: I feel bad that it happened to a nice person. That it happened to you.
>Male 2: So that bothers me. but um....
>Splice
>Male 2: There are some things i have regrets about and sex is a way to forget about
>Splice
Male 2: But at the same time...
Male 2: it doesn't make you feel any better...
Male 2: if someone you like pushes you away.
Male 2: or hides a bit.
Male 2: and that's just who i am.
All of these splices as i said, are where the conversation yet again gets weird and disjointed. I want to point out the voice and tone between clips because i think that's the best indication he was responding to someone.
Between clip 1 and 2 the voice ends and start on a high octave. It's like watching someone take half steps with their left foot, and taking full steps with their right.
Between clip 2 and 3 it sounds like the position of head changed. The right clip sounds more tinny and scratchy at the start than the left.
Between clip 3 and 4 his voice drops tone. In the 4th clips he's audibly low
vince_audio_spec_07.png

I don't have have the energy to point out, and subtitle that these four clips obviously doesn't sound like one conversation. You know the drill, you can decide on your own.
It's odd that the conversation quality changed again on the left most side again.

This was just some odd audio i found.
vince_audio_spec_09.png

At the end of those red sections, it sounds like someone spliced the sentence, made the edge of the left split dampened, moved clip on the right away, then added noise to it all.
I think given the evidence and what's been said, this is false.

vince_audio_spec_10.png

I think this small sliver is an indication the audio clips may overlap. This is indicated by the darker blue. I also think the clip is incomplete from that red bit. It just sounds really odd from the audio. I hope the blur helped.

I really dislike the way this clip was edited. She had the foresight to add a dial tone when she censored a name, but couldn't do the same everytime her voice was edited out? I'm not sure what she thought she had with this audio. Sure it's embarrassing to let your fans know you have a STD along with them hearing you at your most vulnerable, but there's nothing suggesting i should raise my pitch fork in this conversation. It would help if heard what she asked. Also this poor me routine doesn't even make sense (and why she removed her voice). When he mentions Dan one of the few times hear her speak (i think she does it 4 or 5 times) she says "Spicy" in a gossipy way. I have a feeling i spent more time analyzing this clip then she did creating it or its backstory.

Anyways, i doubt i'll do much more with this clip. I'll likely clean up the static and see if i can make her voice normal, but unless anyone has a specific question or request, i'm out.

In case it hasn't been posted yet, Mandalore's got an explanation up.

I figure I should clear the air completely about the Vinesauce doc retweet in a way 280 characters can’t convey.

When it comes to Twitter allegations I tend to avoid involvement in them like the plague. Without going into detail, sexual abuse being covered up was a destructive and formative force in my family. It’s a terrible thing but at the same time, false accusations can be equally destructive and serious. So whenever I’d see one pop up I’d read over the logs and decide what to think of it for myself without making any kind of public address about my own thoughts. As we’ve seen time and time again these stories can twist back and forth in all kinds of ways and I didn’t want to be influencing anyone’s perception as another outsider. This time was different, since I was one of the ones to retweet allegations against someone at an early stage.

I’ll explain how and why this happened.

About a week ago I was approached by a friend I consider to be trustworthy. I was told to chat with them over voice because text was too sensitive and they wouldn’t divulge any details. They told me in call that a streamer had been abusive to fans for years, and that several people were coming forward in a combined document about it. Other witnesses including moderators would also be coming forward with their own perspectives on it.

This was fucking shocking to say the least.

I don’t often watch streams in general, but Vinny was one I would see on and off and I’m sure I still have comments or messages publicly displayed on his playthroughs of slavjank games somewhere. My friend told me the full situation with one of the victims, along with the fact they had audio to share proving one of the more harrowing claims about disease. I listened to it. The quality was bad since he told me it was from a laptop microphone recording a phone call (in a one party consent state) but it did sound like him. It was only a brief segment, maybe 30 seconds but it added up with what he told me. I was informed they had about two hours of audio from this, that it was going to be edited for brevity and to protect the privacy of the victim. I was also told to be extremely discreet with this information, and was shown logs that private images could be threatened as blackmail or released without warning so nothing could be leaked out.

Naturally, this all sounded fucking terrible.

To make matters worse, there was some kind of timing situation now involved. My friend told me that this had been an on-going thing being put together for months, but things were now being fast tracked due to other allegations against someone from GameGrumps starting to fizzle out who might also be implicated by this evidence. I saw that stuff initially emerging but wasn’t keeping caught up with it because it’s GameGrumps.

I was then asked if I would be willing to retweet the information when it came forward because it would be meaningful to the victims and spread awareness of it. Here was my thought process:

  • The accusers were remaining anonymous and it was going to be on a new account, so it didn’t seem like a ploy for someone to try to prop themselves up by crab bucketing.
  • The document evidence was being collected and organized with the help of a professional in the communications field, and this had been an ongoing process for months. I hadn’t seen the document in progress or anything like that, but based on what I had been shown already it seemed compelling enough.
  • I was told there were suspicions of others who might have been hurt/waiting to come forward but something like this might be their only chance to.
  • I was shown this evidence from a friend who had no apparent reason to lie to me. It had been years since we had talked about Vinny at all since he just wasn’t a topic that came up, but he was positive about the guy. He didn’t seem like he had a vendetta.
  • He said I didn’t have to do it, and that he’d understand my decision.

I took all this in account and I wanted to help even though I thought it was a minimal way. I didn’t know the victims personally, but I trusted what my friend was telling me. There was no gain for me in doing this and I knew that I was putting myself on the line as I’ve seen how the internet reacts to this time and time again. If I was malicious and wanted to start leading false witch hunts, I probably wouldn’t pick arguably one of the most beloved streamers online to start with. I had seen and heard enough that it felt like the right thing to do, and would feel horrible telling him I couldn’t help.

So the document came out and I retweeted it. My intent was for people to read the document themselves to come to their own conclusions, so I didn’t add anything to the RT and that was my first mistake.

  1. If I was going to share it, I should’ve clearly added a disclaimer that people should come to their own conclusions based on what they find.

The problem with breaking this kind of thing is that, again, it can twist around in all kinds of ways. When one of the high profile Smash allegations broke out there was about a week or two of torching anyone who was spreading stuff about the accused, and then it turned out to be true. That’s also gone the other way where someone who was innocent was painted as a monster. These kinds of documents can be examined standalone, but other details can emerge over time that change their context. At the time of writing Vinny hasn’t made a statement, but details are emerging about the document so that’s all I can talk about here.

A lot of people were rightfully upset with me for doing that without any context as the document was now being contested, so I explained that I was just raising awareness of it because that’s what I was asked to do and had no involvement in creating it. I got asked a LOT about names and groups I hadn’t heard of so I’ve taken the past day to be talking with other people back and forth since being secretive about everything was no longer a requirement since they got their compilation out how they wanted.

I’ve learned a lot about how chaotic Vinesauce’s greater history is in the past few days. There have been a lot of conspiracy theories, so this is just what I think from my angle.

For starters, I don’t think it’s the work of some ancient rival or ratposters on 4chan. I don’t think my friend is involved in any kind of internet ops group. I know a chain of trustworthy people can be destroyed by one weak link in it, but I doubt it was the person who clued me in. He said he had been present as the original stories were given to him and his intentions seemed sincere. From my understanding, he does not currently have editing access or other privileges on the document itself and I’m not sure who currently does. I don’t know the total of people who had access to it, or who currently has hands on it. If there was someone malicious, it could be someone whose name I don’t know with my lack of information.

When I checked back to Twitter later I saw that the document was doing the back and forths. One claim was that an email logo was fake, but then it turned out to be how Yahoo mail displays outside contacts like from G-Mail. One was that the images were suspicious and blurry, or that icons were moving around, and the solution to that was that Gmail is shitty and so is Google Docs on mobile without viewing in the app so people were seeing different qualities of screencaps and emails. Dates and times coincided with streams, but again were thrown into doubt with timezones. The audio quality also had people calling into question its validity, particularly the way it was spliced. You don’t need fancy headphones to hear when it sounds like the next person is suddenly much farther away or closer with different levels of background hiss.

As I was told, and the document said, this was being done with the intent of preserving privacy and brevity, but spliced highlight audio without the raw file for the sake of comparison is rightfully seen as suspicious since you can make anything happen with that. You could dub in a voice/text or distort it sentence by sentence, but that’s a time consuming process and like I said before things were hurried. If that’s why it was presented like that it shouldn’t have been hurried because EVERYONE should be suspicious of spliced audio. The document audio does start with the same portion I heard, but once past that point it hard cuts into being much worse quality after the other person’s response is cut. This kind of thing is possible with such a terrible microphone recording a phone, but again no raw file to compare or hear people adjusting position means it’s not crazy to be suspicious of it.

Other issues with the document came from how posts on sites like Instagram are actually archived format wise, or how Vinny types. I have zero insight into either of these so they were a tossup for me.

What I found to be significant enough was this tweet thread from a person who claims to be who Person #4 was talking about in the document. They claimed to have no knowledge of the validity of the other sources, but they contested this account. In summary, she said she had been “made out to be a victim against her consent” and that her trying to escape the situation was being framed as taking sides. She ends by saying that she isn’t trying to debunk the entire document, but only her role in Person #4’s report.

This is a significant issue. To make matters worse, she has wanted her information removed from the document for nearly a day now at the time of posting. It’s likely the document holder doesn’t want to because removing sections out makes it more damning, but how much does it matter at this point? The privacy safeguard is already gone.

Regardless of intention, the document now has some serious issues.

Which leads to my next, biggest mistake.

  1. I should not have been involved at all.

I should’ve just said no. I’m writing all of this about alleged actions involving strangers who I’ve never interacted with. I thought the height of my involvement would just be a passing along of information for people to judge for themselves, but I wasn’t thinking of how that was framed. I try not to think about internet numbers a lot, but I realize that wordlessly passing that document along from where I am was highly irresponsible. I understand that I was just being asked to be a spotlight on an issue I wasn’t involved in at all, but that is significantly different when you have fifty thousand followers on the platform. Me being involved at all from out of the blue was weird for everyone, and led to tangents away from the issue.

I’m deeply sorry.

I’m sorry to those who came forward in the document. I genuinely only wanted to help, but my involvement at all was a mistake. I agreed to it and it’s my fault for stupidly running in to try and support you on impulse without considering greater implications. I’m sorry that you’re hurting in this way, and hope it gets resolved.

I’m sorry to Vinny. I haven’t seen his perspective yet, but I hope it comes prepared. I shouldn’t have been spreading anything about you in my position when I don’t personally know you, but people will associate us because of shared tastes in games and shoutouts, and that could be misconstrued as some kind of a character testimony. It wasn’t my place to do so without better knowledge and I wronged you hard.

Lastly, I’m sorry to anyone who was let down by me doing this. It was a fucking stupid decision, but I thought I would be letting my friend and victims down if I didn’t help when asked. My personal interactions mean nothing to the greater sphere, and I need to take better care considering the large scale effects of what I do. I’m a fucking moron, but I had good intentions. Road to hell and all that.

Going forward, I won’t be doing anything like this again unless I’ve witnessed it personally. It’s not fair to anyone involved for me to stumble into it, and even if I’m asked by someone trusted I still have to consider all the available perspectives and outcomes. I’ll always be available to support these kinds of situations in private, but I can’t be involved publicly without firsthand knowledge. It’s not my place to do so and will just end in making things worse.

I was an idiot. Thanks for reading.

Fair enough explanation, although appearing on stream and apologizing to Vinny in person would cap off his involvement.

It's been posted, but IDK if the text was copied. That said, I still want to re-emphasize how much this part bothers me.

Taking this at face value, three things bother me-

1. This was a coordinated effort.

2. It was months in the making, meaning that, provided the claims were true, Vinny would have been in contact with countless other potential 'victims'.'

3. It was 'fast tracked' to ride the coattails of an already existing controversy.

Nothing about that seems particularly 'good' or 'noble'

Really wish YouTube wasn't flooded with this new video essay cringe trend that's slowly replacing React streamers.

Thats probably why it feels so coordinated.

Dont really find the "hehehehe spEEEEn" autism to be funny anymore but still enjoy Vinny's corruptions.

I prefer Joel, especially with the Sims Memehouse and Wish series in recent times

I completely agree with you I'm getting the same vibes as the SayNoToRage allegations the completely destroyed his career. If you don't know what I'm talking about the YouTuber UpperEchelonGamers did a really good vid on it.

Not quite sure why some of y'all are calling Vinny based for this. Based for what? Fucking mentally unwell young fangirls with pronouns in their bios? I think this only makes Vinny a retarded idiot.

Also think it's funny that people in the game grumps thread were calling him a pedo sex Pest for fucking young fangirls, now people in this thread are calling Vinny based in this thread for doing the same shit that Dan did. I mean, the difference is that people hate Dan in the gg thread, but everyone here mostly likes Vinny. Guess kf is not so impartial after all.

Anyway. I don't think vinny's a pedo and I don't think he deserves cancelling and I hope he won't stop streaming. But at the same time: he's an idiot who kinda had this one coming.
But don't you know? The pronouns in their bio invalidate everything they have to say.

On the other hand, if the Ryan Haywood effect kicks in, and girls step forward with multiple pieces of evidence and much, much dirtier shit comes to light, then a good ol' fashioned barbecue will begin. So, y'know, be on the lookout.

I don't think there's gonna be any Ryan-style rabbit hole. His shit went from cringy sexting with fans to cheating on his wife by popping the cherries of obsessed fangirls after flying them out to a hotel and rawdogging them, with one of them possibly being underage when they sexted and shit.

Vinny's shit has been an anonymous source with awful evidence saying he had consensual sex with them, was really paranoid/anxious in and out of bed, talked shit about his friends, and possibly gave someone HPV (knowingly is a crime, but like everything else in the callout, it's flimsy.)

The victims attention seekers haven't corroborated their stories at all, and their supporters are falling into camps of either:
1) believe the victims !!! i know them so you must believe them 100% and i am locking my profile and not taking questions
2) didn't read the evidence fully before shoving their two cents in
3) signalboosting the original post, now backtracking and deleting their shit
4) vehemently arguing with anyone who even thinks that the evidence isn't entirely convincing
5) have bad blood of some kind (significant or not) with vinesauce

The effect of people coming forward has already kicked in, but it's been in favour of Vinny;
1) A rando trying to claim underage shit about Vinny getting shut down by SgtFgt. The latter was previously involved with him but there's no bad blood, and revealed that the rando is some psycho serial harrasser of Vinny's.
2) The Lichpit user coming out to clarify that #4 of the allegations is not only wrong about what they alleged, but that were creepy/awkward, didn't have permission to put their info in the document and asked for it to be removed.
3) The chick who sent him the duck plush who said everything was consensual, legal, cool, and he's awkward but not creepy or anything.

Like others have already said, if there's a big takeaway/point to this all, it'll be highlighting what everybody already knows - he's awkward and cringy when it comes to bobs and vagene and is high strung about his privacy ... for obvious reasons. Tumblrites and the like will be disappointed that he's not some chaste uwu softboy kpop virgin idol comfort streamer who can do no wrong, and autistic retards like me will come to terms that he isn't some godlike italian sausage delivering milf loving chad.

I just watched her "live off Evangelion merch" vid the other day and it was good. Shame that she's jumping on the false allegation bandwagon.
I mean she's a pronoun-bio and one of those pronouns is they plus she made a video saying there's no political bias in the weeb translation field when that's demonstrably untrue, that video ironically gave away how biased she is.

I still think this is Vinny's fault. Asking for "spicy pics" on your business email is a huge fuck-up. Anything else after that he kind of had coming. Especially if he knew anything about the kind of girls he was with, that they'd do some elaborate thing like this.

I still feel bad for him, especially after the stream, but come on. There doesn't have to be some grand legal reason for someone to call you out on shitty repetetive behavior. It's on him for being so reckless with that.
You are one of the most idiotic same day newfags I have ever seen on my 4 years on this site. Lemmie just point something out since it passed everyone by:
Like it said in the document itself, and based on experiences a friend had with him, he overshares a lot. She told me way more than I needed to know as well, lol. Like a consignment to comfort or something.
Oh So your uncle's best friends cousin who works at Nintendo had experiences with Vinny PizzaPasta? Shit or get off the pot and stop acting like you are just a bystander in all this shit.

I wonder how Vinny is going to proceed with legal action. Internet slander lawsuits almost never work out well for the person suing.

But we don't even know if he's really planning on suing anyone. Maybe he'll try to get a restraining order.

There was this one voice actor, Quinton Flynn, who got accused online in a similar fashion to Vic mignogna. Couldn't tell you if he was guilty or not. While Vic sued and pretty much lost everything, flynn pursued a restraining order against the main accuser and she was eventually forced to delete her accusations.

So, a restraining order might be better for Vinny in the long run, if he really wants to go the legal route.

But I don't think he has to do anything at this point. Doesn't matter what I think of the accusations, it's a fact that the absolute majority of people on any social media platform are supportive of Vinny. He could just take his break and then return to streaming.

Mandalore really fucked himself didn't he?

There are like three people in his twitter replies actually calling him out on his bullshit. Everyone else is applauding his bravery for "standing with the wymyns."
And everyone else is replying to him like he is the victim in this whole thing and prevailed over it for some weird reason. Anyone who critically replied to him just gets ridiculed and shouted down by his dickriders. So unless he gets sued (Let's hope.) nothing will change for him.

Well, unless I missed something I don't believe he stated he was going to sue. If anything, he's probably staying in contact with the lawyer to protect against further misinformation/slander.

I've noticed that too. Like I've stated before, if you pick apart the apology, there's a lot of concerning implications about not only his involvement, but how he acts. If I were a content creator of any kind, I'd stay far away from him.

Earlier in the thread I made this joke.

"does anyone else hate youtubers who pretend to be 'smarter than your average bear' then go an insult the average bear and say how much smarter they are than them?"

The document comes across as self-thrown pity party and actively contradicts itself countless times. Just because you call yourself an idiot doesn't make up for the fact you haphazardly used your position of power (funny given the context) to perpetuate a damaging bit of slander you didn't even look in to much. With a simple retweet you helped damage a man's mental health and livlihood.

Not sure if it's been pointed out though, Mandalore let it slip that whoever put him up to it was a "he". Take that for what you will, but I'm sure that could narrow down an identity for whoever put him up to it. That said, I'm sure it's not worth the effort to look in to.

Yeah that's what I think is gonna happen, if what Sgtfgt says is true (Which take anything the random people on the internet say with a grain of salt) there has been someone going after Vin trying to fuck with him for years. I don't think Vinny would be able to mentally take a full legal case mentally or even financially.
and again considering how botched this shit was I don't even think this will hurt his shit like "Vinesauce is Hope" so I hope he can get it sorted out by then. Abit :optimistic: but I just wanna see more money go to cancer patients.

Yeah, I saw that too.
"There's no political bias in anime translation, and any bias you can find is a one off, so ingore and stop talking about it! Also, isn't it great how this one Japanese game praises the LGBT community? More Japanese writers should do that!"

It's obvious what she's doing.

So glad he's lawyering up, and so glad that people are starting to be skeptical-by-default toward this me-too circus. Hopefully they pay out tons in damages.

Also, it's always hilarious how Twitter slanderers think deleting tweets and privating their account will stop the court from getting that info. Deleted data on social media is required by law to be retained for multiple years (depending on the jurisdiction) specifically for legal cases involving users. And privating your account to keep the law away from it? Laughable, these people are adults with the minds of children.
oldfag-turned-sjw
The absolute worst kind of SJW by the way. "I had fun being edgy and saying funny gamer words on the internet, but now people younger than me can't be allowed it." It's the ultimate boomer move. Gen X is way worse than the boomers ever were for this "fuck you I got mine" shit, and it's worth noting that the Karens in tech and corporate are not boomers, they're all Gen X.
