Considering it's his main source of income and he enjoys it, I don't think he'll quit.
Vinny has long since given me the impression that as much as he enjoys streaming, it's a very precarious part of his life. He's not someone who wants to generate a tremendous amount of attention for himself- that sucks -and he seems hesitant to even promote his own stream. I don't know, I wouldn't say he's not proud of his stream or anything, just that I could see him leaving it behind.

He'll be back. He's going to need that sweet sweet streamer money for the lawsuit. Imagine the avalanche of donations he'll get when he returns.

Was already happening tonight in force once he went live. Fairly certain most people who came are now subs.

I've been a fan of him for a while and his streams helped me out of a dark place. I wish the best of him. It's going to suck now but I'm :optimistic: that he will return one day. This was the best action he could take and I hope things work out in the end.

I totally get it doesn't reflect all the users here, and the support for Vinny right now is genuine, but it does feel awfully two faced that before this controversy, the thread was digging into his personal matters with the whole 'fuckin his friend's gf' thing and determining if he's balding and wearing a wig.

so, is this an admittance of "nothing wrongness/illegalness was done" and vinny used his sexual pizzapasta meat spells against the alleged victims?

welcome to the farms fam, if theres one thing we hate more than the e-celebs we bicker/hen peck about, its e-women

When things are smooth sailing, people like to poke fun. Also, I'm convinced the wigs thing was an Elijah Woods meme. And about fucking Mike's GF, that's so long ago and they're still friends at least. Their personal lives aren't our business (As rich as that sounds given the circumstances rn)

For what's its worth, the wig stuff is mostly a running joke because of it's absolute absurdity (or at least it is on my end).

What I wonder is what he's going to do in the meantime. I mean, sure he can still play videogames in private and just keep to himself, but I wonder if he's also going to use this time for some other things, for example, if he focus his time and feelings on writing songs and stuff, the next Red Vox album is surely going to be interesting as fuck.

welcome to the farms

So wait doing a stream calmly explaining your mental position is immature, but getting a bunch of E-Celebs together like you are gonna call out the high school bully rather than, IDK calling the cops or some shit, is a sign of adulting?

I'm not buying into that whole "Vinny sounds so broken and depressed" stuff. To me, it just sounded like he was speaking in his regular speaking voice. Y'know, everyday life voice. Highly uncharacteristic for the streamer we know as Vinesauce, but not the man we know as Vincent. If anything, it makes sense that he'd sound a bit exhausted if he's getting in contact with lawyers. No use in talking about this stuff any longer, since it seems like Vinny knows what he's doing right now. I hope we get official pics of Vinny in a fancy suit outta this mess. :)

On a lighter note, it tickles me that Gal Gun will be in his most recently streamed games for a while. Little did we know that would be his last normal stream.

I think the difference is people here, for the most part, digging into his life did so out of curiosity and never intended it to use it to try and cancel him. Personally I'm interested in finding archives of his old streams that were deleted because he said a spicy gamer word. And personally I welcome the wig posting because it's legitimately hilarious, it's like that scene in Always Sunny where Charlie's looking for Pepe Silvia.

I doubt this would actually go to court.

I would be surprised if it even had an official settlement. The lawyer will probably get the person to retract it and I doubt the 20 something who posted the doc has enough assets to be worth actually pursuing. Plus damages in libel cases can be notoriously difficult to actually get. You don't want to have the full cost of a lawsuit and then the judge just orders the other party to desist.
