The dragons look big and statuesque in the original, but instead of giving them more polygons for the remaster they completely redesigned them to look like chubby fursonas.

The use of color in the original was also much better, nothing was the primary crayola version of whatever color it was, like the grass was slightly turquoise and the rocks had rich overtones. Remaster is just chinese mobile game Rocks R Brown Grass iz Green Sky Blue saturation:1000%.

Sure there was ps1 derp but I feel like I was imagining something different than the remaster team.

I think the dragons are a 100% improvement honestly. There's some parts in terms of visually that made me go "hmmmm" but otherwise it's about what I wanted.

Streamers never seem to have the patience for EDF. Now that Vinny relates D3 with PS2 shovelware especially, he'd probably not give it the time of day and just keep complaining about the graphics being cheap or something, depsite the fact that the gameplay is finely tuned down to the atom.

Also, it doesn't help that EDF always has a slow start in both missions and weapons before you get to the good stuff.

Joel did some EDF streams that were great watches.
 
Has anyone here mentioned how Vinny's mods fucking suck at being mods? He's got a few good ones, but some of them definitely feel like nepotism on his part. Especially Charonian and DesertP, the latter of whom is only funny when Vinny does the whole DESERT P bit. Otherwise, the actual guy is an annoying prick who sucks at his job and tries WAY too hard to be funny. Seriously, he's so fucking obnoxious he's the only one I have blocked so I don't need to see godawful attempts at "humor".

100% nepotism, all mod's and team members are just his friends, not a secret. Kinda dumb since it's just gonna generate fake friends trying to get into that valuable autohost rotation.

Personally I don't care since twitch jannies don't deserve respect just contempt. The job is to let nightbot delete any spammers and I guess pick off the ones it misses? Chat is chaos anyway who cares if autism occurs.

If I fix chat with 2 auto-bans can I be a jannie too? "joseph" and "I CUM" done.
 
Is it weird that I've never watched a single Vinesauce stream? I always just wait for the VODs to show up in my subscription box then see if they're worth checking out. All of the talk here about the absolute state of the chat just makes me even less interested in registering on Twitch.
For that matter they're pretty much the only streamers I can tolerate. No bullshit or loud donation messages every minute. Bless them.

Not really. I don't even have a Twitch or YouTube account, and in that case it's always better to watch VOD (or Twitch recording, if I feel like watching chat or VD isn't uploaded yet) at some more convenient time, with a bonus of being able to pause it normally and watch at 1.5x speed.

Tbh, I think Charonian has been less annoying in recent years with bringing up political stuff in chat randomly- though I haven't really seen her in chat much to begin with, so maybe I'm not as up to date as I thought. Allow me to ask you though, what's she been doing recently? As for DesertP, he has that Jimmy Fallon thing going on where anytime someone speaks, let alone breathes, he's like BAHAHAHAHA HOLY SHIT *pounds table*... and that happens literally every time he joins Vin's streams. As far as his other mods go, Dave, Sphinx and Mono are cool in my book. *Edit: Also noticed a few nights ago that DemEngineerz is still a mod and hangs around in chat sometimes. Neat.

Sup fellow monky? Having a discussion in chat is basically near-impossible to how things were 7-8 years ago when Chatango was still around. Unless you're a tenured viewer, a mod, a prominent booru artist or fellow streamer (a la Hacker), the odds of people replying to you or having Vinny read your message is pretty slim most nights. I've seen some decent discussion on nights where he isn't doing sunday stream stuff or playing Cyberpunk, but you're still gonna have waves of :LUL:'s and :Kappa:'s flooding the chat for a good majority of the time. I'd stay waiting for the VODs if I were you, since John Fullsauce is way more up to speed on uploading them than Vappy ever was... and the thumbnails are great.
