There are, sometimes, hourly threads with his face in the OP that are nothing but people complaining about e-celeb discussions on /v/ and a-logging. Same for Oney. Whenever mods delete them, a new one pops up instantly. I don't browse 4chan that often anymore but it feels like this shit has been going for months.

To the point where there's definitely some schizo behind them.

I definitely agree that the Vinesauce a-logging in particular has been going on for quite a long time, ever since Vinny started cleaning up his content for wider appeal. I don't browse /v/ (or 4chan in general) very often either, and I can still recall seeing multiple "what went wrong?" Vinesauce threads that either parroted the usual complaints or got removed by mods for exactly what you just described. Given the makeup of his fanbase and the image he now projects to his audience, I wouldn't be surprised if he has some persistent stalkers of his own - we already know he's been stalked in person at least once, and it's likely to have happened much more often over the years. So it wouldn't surprise me if the same people bitching about him on /v/ are also the same ones scouring every site they can think of for more information about him.

It's quite infuriating, especially given how long he's been streaming and dealing with criticism from fans who were resistant to the changes to his content. How has he not learned to tune it out or at least mock it in a less embarrassing way? I think I've mentioned this before, but Vinny can easily ignore messages. Like, very easily. Chat's in permanent slow mode due to the amount of people watching, and it still goes by so fast that reading it is basically impossible - so not only is he going out of his way to reply to the worst messages, but he can't even come up with a witty retort for any of them. I just can't really understand why he feels the need to not only give a platform to these dumb comments, but to then "dunk on them" in the most irritating way possible. It's not even satisfying; it just makes him sound bitter and kind of bitchy.

I love Vinny but frankly he is an insecure bitch. He defends his interests a lot when he really doesn't have to. And yeah, every stream there seem to be ONE GUY in chat who whines about what Vinny is doing and Vinny has to acknowledge them.

As someone who got into the series right before Kingdom Hearts 3 came out: he's absolutely right. Between playing 1, 2, Birth by Sleep, and then watching videos of nearly everything else to understand what was going on: it took 100+ hours of time to do so while doing only some of the side stuff in the games I played. And even after doing so, guess what: I STILL DIDN'T COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND IT. Partially because the plot is still confusing, but also because there was apparently a MOBILE GAME that had come out in Japan only right before KH3 released that also explained part of the plot. Since KH3 has came out, there's also been a rhythm game that, you guessed it, is also plot relevant. In short: the characters are fun, but the plot is long, confusing nonsense.

Also worth pointing out is that Vinny has said in the past he's not a big Disney fan - he's on the record as saying he's only ever seen a handful of animated Disney movies iirc. So one of the biggest reasons to play the games is kind of a non-factor for him. He'd enjoy the gameplay and get a bit of enjoyment out of the FF characters as well as the absurdity of having Donald and Goofy as party members, but I think the series wouldn't click for him even if he did try just the first game.

True KHfags know that Kingdom Hearts 1, Chain of Memories and 2 are the ONLY ones that matter and pretend the prequels, later sequels and speen-offs didn't happen. 😉

That actually really fucking sucks. Back a couple years ago, she was one of the others I watched a bit on the team, and whenever her Mother showed up, they were on pretty good terms. Made for some nice and fun moments. Hope they make up soon...
