I kinda miss the more chaotic times when Vinny didn't have a vetting team. Some of the funniest sunday stream moments from a few years ago were when Vinny would start a game and it'd just be so loud that it was almost deafening, causing Vinny to scream in terror lol. Kinda miss those moments.

At the same time, I get that Vinny got tired of that eventually. Also, he doesn't want to get yeeted off of twitch obviously. I remember when he started up a game and it was straight up porn. A vetting team is helpful for that of course.

Sunday streams have so much random trash that if he didn't have the vets, his PC would be malware'd to hell 100 times over by now. Plus, the vetters can get rid of the super-trash that wouldn't even be funny for a joke.

Yeah, the ear-piercing thing was funny at first, until people started doing it on purpose specifically to get a rise out of him. At that point it was just annoying for the sheer fact that those shrieking sounds are obnoxious to begin with, and the only real comedic value in them gets worn out really quickly, much like more traditional screamers. I can agree that we got some good responses from Vinny out of them, though. Lest we forget the Zedrin saga...

Funny story! So Vinny got multiple ear-screeching submissions from the same person, using the same name as some artist named Zedrin who I believe draws porn? They also submitted one of Zedrin's old games, which was obviously NSFW and violated Twitch's TOS, so Vinny was already on edge from that.

After a few times of this, Vinny got sick of it and snapped (timestamp intentional; this is immediately after another of the screeching audio files played, and Vinny was silent for like a good 10-20 seconds after the sound stopped). Apparently multiple people approached Zedrin about it, and as it turned out, he had nothing to do with the submissions - it was someone completely unrelated who just wanted to fuck with Vinny and to pin it on Zedrin, for some reason.

The Toad games stream, I dont really catch vinny's streams live I usually just watch fullsauce. The reason I bring this up is, one night I was watching him on my tv and fell asleep. Suddenly I heard that sound blast though my entire house, last time I watched him on my tv.

Sheldkrote was a "trolling group" of amateur youtube lets players making fun of slightly more amateur youtube letsplayers (from back when Something Awful Lets Play was at war with YT, hence why "yt lp" was different from just LP at the time since the scene was all about daily motion, only bottom feeders were on yt with the time limit) Cloud8745 was part of this group or had friends in it, No idea but those showed up in my search for vinesauce screengrabs, bizarre to see so many years later.

I have "droughts" with Vinny like this a lot. Nothing against him and I'd rather he do a wide variety of games but sometimes I'm just not interested in the games he's playing through. I highly prefer watching him play old games or ones I'm familiar with.

Same, but I like the filler streams/games, stuff like part time ufo, spelunky, noita, are better for me than new "big" games.

Wish he'd do more dreams, but maybe there isn't as much content as when it was being pushed.

I'm not into Spelunky as much as a lot of other people are so that definitely hasn't helped the drought for me. Even Sunday Streams lately have been kind of boring to me (at least some parts, not the whole stream usually). But I go through phases like this with most things I watch anyway.

And I don't blame him LOL GAME SUX / IS BROKUN / LOUD NOISES FUNY has run it's course, but there are still gems to find. Also the vetting team kinda isn't that great with the corruptions lately and some repetitive and clown vomit lazy-batches make it through.

Vin has been adding more ai stuff into sunday which seems to be an actual point of interest for him (as far as giving him an album cover even)

I feel this so hard. Especially the whole vetting team thing. I get that they "work hard" (at least that's what Vinny says) and I do appreciate that we have avoided some super cringey things but things just aren't as great as they used to be. I think the last time I laughed really hard at corruptions and Sunday Streams is when he did a DK corruption and there was the purple monkey part. I wish I could remember which one it was so I could link it. It might have even been last year, but time has been so fucky lately I don't really know.

So what has been everyone's favorite Sunday Stream segments in the past? The most I know is that segments can be determined by what viewers send in, so I wonder if there hasn't been anything amazing lately. If that's the case, it wouldn't be a bad idea to throw Vinny some packs or game suggestions (don't go making a pack called "kiwifarms approved games" of course). The AI and Game Commercial YTP segments produce some particularly cursed content, but there's only so much that can be squeezed from that.

I imagine it also takes a long time to scrape something worthwhile from the usual gaming sites; Vinny's probably played most of the good stuff. Like I really enjoy shit like Juice World(or your usual Getting Weird With it kind of games), Chaos Editions of N64 games, certain kinds of dos games etc.

Nintendo Nightmare, Crypt Worlds, Toilet in Wonderland, Bad Mojo, Worlds (and variants), Limbo of the Lost, and any other longform Sunday type shit always makes for the best Vinny streams. Too bad nu-Vinny only plays games for 20 minutes before moving on. Can't help thinking Nintendo Nightmare or any of the other games I listed would be abandoned if Vinny streamed them nowadays.
