in other news my dumbass learned what "liberal elite" refers to

I'm glad you posted this because I was trying to figure out what they were freaking out about. I wasn't paying attention to the game or chat and when I looked over people were telling chat to shut up lol

The moment Vinny said "so if you guys remember that Star Warped game I played a while back" the chat just filled with "oh no"s and I started laughing at that alone.

These vacations are REALLY mini, like "driving around the next town over" mini, what 20yo's did every weekend before internet. "lets find a cool rock/creepy schoolhouse out in the sticks" or if you are FROM the sticks "lets see if the city target has different tshirts". At least thats what it sounded like to me.

If a game mentions anything not PC (or considered pc by 90's entertainment standards) chat flips out rather than following vinny's lead and ignoring it. Vinesauce attracts "those" types because rev and mike are that way openly and vinny doesn't do the macho game streamer thing so the 14yo bi kids come around and get used to it being their space when really its the neutral zone of don't ask don't tell re:politics.

Man, you're really harping on that point, aren't you? Everything okay at home, buddy?

EDIT: In an effort to not focus on dumb comments for too long, I will say that this reminds me of Joel's stream of The Typing of the Dead, where he'd added an Always Sunny modpack that added quotes from the show to the game. To my recollection, he expected it to be only SFW stuff, but one of the very first words he encountered was a transphobic slur in all its uncensored glory (or lack thereof :story: ). I can't remember if he typed the word quickly to get it off the screen, or if he immediately closed the game and restarted with the mod disabled, but in either case he ended up doing the latter pretty soon after the little incident. It was pretty hilarious to see him react to with such genuine shock and distress at seeing it.

Vinny and Joel are prime examples of why you should only do streaming/YouTube for fun and NEVER as a full time job

The need to dilute yourself to appeal to as many people as possible and the quality suffers

Vinny and Joel have a lot of triggering power and cold cause a great meltdown but decide not to keep their finances in order

Basically during the X FIles parody game, the Mulder parody mentions Hollywood being secretly run behind the scenes by certain people, before he clarifies he means aliens, the Scully parody asks if he means the "liberal elite" which caused chat to errupt into "OY VEY" spam. Im not really a fan of antisemitc/jew jokes (however you view it) but I find it funny when the illusion of the safe space breaks, the culture shock of chat memebers realize who they share the stream with. Im not against "safe spaces" either but when I see comments like "wow chat is shitty tonight" i find it funny how oblivious people are to the fact that they were always there/were Vinesauce started. I even saw someone a few days ago talking about how they thouhgt 4chan was a dangerous website not safe for anyone but whites. (the person who they were talking with then clarified that they werent white lol)

edit: ok so newfag question but can you right the word wow without it turning into a doge?
