I have mixed feelings about this game but even so it's kind of amazing how appropriate this chapter was for Vinny.

Am I the only one who is bothered by this kind infantilization of streamers? There's no need to baby them like this; They're fully grown-ass adults like yourself. Actually, I don't know if I'd rather prefer these types of artists be adults or minors.

I mean, it's really more of a reddit problem than a Twitch streamer problem. This is textbook wholesome 100 chonker keanu memery. This gets done to pretty much anyone those people adore.

It's creepy either way. He's a grown ass man, not a character from Doraemon.

Honestly, the disparity in how fans viewed Vinny pre-Twitch and how they view him now is astoundingly big. For starters, the majority of art submitted to the booru didn't even feature Vinny in it - it was usually artistic renditions of corruptions, or other things that happened in the stream proper. The art that did feature Vinny tended to (lovingly) mock him and/or draw attention to his more... "edgy" moments, for lack of a better phrase. The way people depict him now is more in line with his new softboy persona, so it's a lot more about Vinny himself rather than the goings on of his streams - even to the point that Vinny had to put a hard cap on Tomodachi Life fanart, since people kept submitting weirdly horny art of Vinesauce and Vlinny instead of anything that was actually relevant to whatever he was streaming at the time.

I can't even imagine being in his shoes. He's 35 years old and he's got both teenagers AND adults painting him in this super awkward "omg Vinny such a goode boye!! ♥♥♥" type light . It's weird as fuck, man.

Ngl, this drawing makes me wildly uncomfortable.

If someone drew me like that, I'd probably buy more locks for my apartment door.

This kinda reminds me of how lately I'm seeing youtubers selling plushies of themselves like Oney, Tamashi hiroka and Shesez. I guess with that sort of culture going around it's not surprising fans start to see content creators as cartoon characters.

I kind of get the intent but... I agree with the others saying it's pretty creepy. I hate how UwU tumblr culture infantilizes, wubbifies and UwU pure soft babby boooois everything.

Its gonna make so many issues should these "people" ever see Vinny irl (be it conventions or bumping into him in the streets)

Yeah, Vargfren is way more of a shitpost than a UwU smol soft depressed streamer boi.

I do miss when things were a little more shitposty on booru, because the Vinny idolization gets fucking weird. Sure there's some amazing talent, but I feel it would be better spent elsewhere and not trying to get pizza pasta man to notice you.

A lot of them are pretty young, it seems. Then again, a big chunk of his audience now are in their early 20's and started watching him when they were in their teens.
