Eh. I would excuse GPM or this Tame guy, but then i remember that Joel has been streaming since he was a minor and never did anything scummy or something, so...

btw, finally sat down to watch the 12 hour stream, and he said he might bring Signal Simulator back. i hope he does honestly

Yeah, I personally can't think of a time I lied about something that big, even when I was a kid. I think there are plenty of Kickstarters and such created by teenagers that go to show that, when it comes to money, age doesn't matter - if you lie to people about how much you have and what you're spending it on, they're going to rake you over the coals. I can empathize with Tame more since he clearly didn't understand how big of a fuck-up that was, but he was still wrong for doing it. GPM just counted his chickens way too early and screwed himself over in the long run.

The sad irony about GPM for me is that he has apparently helped multiple now-big streamers get their start, including Vinny, while he still struggles to pull decent numbers. I've only seen one stream of his in full and it was the Drunk Mario Party stream, but going off of that, my best guess as to why would be that the dude is just a charisma black hole. Even being drunk didn't make him more fun to watch; if anything, it made him more annoying.

GeePM is likely trying to hope that pleasing the WOKE zoomers and millennials will keep him afloat. I still follow him but don't watch his streams but when I see him up I usually see 1K or less maybe 2k at most. Like he was not that bad but then I guess he let the power get to his head and used his Vinesauce fame to get easy money?

It took my dumb boomer brain a while to figure out your video and comment weren't really related so I was real confused.
 
Vin is doing corruptions tonight and he's currently on San Andreas corruptions (which are great so far) and as soon as the police showed up half the chat starting screaming 'ACAB'!! Which is fine, whatever have your views I don't care, just don't bring it to the streams. Luckily, he was able to skip that part pretty quickly so he shut it down.
 
Anyone remember the time when GeePM was streaming the newest Lucius game and went absolutely psychotic when he encountered the mission with the KKK? The Lucius franchise is about murdering people in creative ways; one of the levels in Lucius 3 has you witness the KKK lynching a black man, you're then supposed to kill them using various methods in the environment. He got so upset at the sight of the KKK that he shut the game off, vowed never to play it again, removed it from his library since it was ineligible for a refund and then screeched at the devs on Twitter about how this is completely unacceptable and that they should remove it immediately. Dude is a fucking retard.

The Saturn was a lot more popular in Japan than everywhere else. If anything this should be the standard. Darkstalkers/Devil Survivor was also really fucking rad, except for the part where Vinny somehow completely skipped over Felicia.

Somehow Vinny had never even heard of Darkstalkers before, which is astounding to me. One of the biggest and most well-regarded retro fighting game franchises.

I mean, I guess I could understand getting your panties in a twist if you were the one doing the lynching, if you're the sort to get your diaper all full over video games. But the fact that they're the villains and your objective is to murder them?

Hate to say it pal, but the Mafia and Yakuza are 100,000,000% worse than the KKK was even at the absolute height of its power, and they're treated as cool and sometimes even the good guys in video games.

But spitting your pacifier out and crying about people who murder everyone doesn't get you those epic Twitter likes.

It really does strike me as a move for attention. This is the dude who got his start on DatStream, which I’m pretty sure was just as edgy and non-serious as early Vinesauce.
 
I binged some of the Art Corner playlist today, and I'm just happy Vinny keeps the segment around. The few times I've submitted something, it's been pleasant seeing him react to it, even if it's just a "Oh, that's nice, good art."

It also made me realize how many great artists are in the Vinesauce community, and just how diverse it really is. It's funny seeing some great piece someone put hours to days into and then being slapped by some meme someone threw together in ten minutes to make Vinny laugh.
 
I guess while we're on the subject of GPM, He was at least nice to his fans, I recall adding him on steam after playing some game with him back in like 2016-2017ish. I don't remember, it was back when the website was still around they they all shared an account.
Had a few conversations with him about excerise, Gave me some decent advice too.

But It kinda sucks that he felt the need to freak out over seeing that though.
Maybe he was worried that if he didn't freak out enough he would appear racist via association or some shit.

I don't know. I'm just rambling.

I will say that his Miiverse streams were goddamned hilarious and it's a damn shame the Miiverse got shut down. I used to watch all of those, especially when he would go through and read the roleplays.
 
I think (at least on his tumblr) he "apologized" for his saying of naughty nono words and for "making fun of children" or whatever when before that he made it clear he was not making fun of the people doing those roleplays but just the roleplays themselves, just before miiverse got shut down, or it could have been someone else who did those with him idk.
 
Just Vinny things: Vinny getting grains from a salt gun (??? I literally never heard of this before) in his eye while trying to kill a large mosquito which was probably a crane fly.
