Watching Vinny's Rimworld play through since I had heard decent things about it. Besides chat being wrong about the game and insisting they're right it's decent enough. However...

Boy do these losers latch onto any "blank slate" characters they can. It's Tomodachi Life all over again with people basically writing fanfiction in the YouTube comments.

Edit: Mike is an absolute lolcow in the making and I have no idea how people stand watching him.

Like I liked him when he and Vinny would co-op (Snipperclips was awesomely hilarious) but once he drank the kool-aid he's got worse. (And I get the feeling that they won't ever co-op again and homo-erotic comments would make Vinny uncomfortable now that Mike is WOKE cause gotta pander to the uwu fujoshits and transtrenders

If he won't troon out maybe he'll be a trendersexual? (say that he's gay cause its trendy)

Never watched him and Rev (I only watch Rev if he does flash games, my summer car or indie games like that art one called Paspretrout or something like that.

I'm not surprised to hear that Rev and Mike do shit together considering they're both in different but similar locations on the retard spectrum.

Unless Mike starts being more exceptional than your usual "Hey guys I totally believe all of these moronic things I'm saying and not just because I want your money because I desperately want to play video games for a living instead of getting a real job" streamer I don't see what point a thread for him would serve other than to disappear after a week. Panoots is even less Vinesauce adjacent than Mike and he gets about the same amount of discussion in here, and he was actually a good streamer before he died in that horrible banana truck accident.
 
Mike's problem is a cocktail of things; drug abuse, short temper due to impatience, easily swayed towards outrage, lack of education due to slow learning from impatience. Watching his streams is like watching a person devolve into madness, kinda like Cosmo's descent into troondom was a slow crawl with obvious signs. Lack of self-awareness and understanding of others is a common trope of corruption.

Mike is the chaotic-evil variant of DesertP. Actually, the Vinesauce crew make for a good alignment chart tbh.
 
To chime in on Mike having his own thread- I don't think he's quite at the level of being a lolcow. He's could easily get there though if he's pushed to go off the deep end with the trans support and LGBT activism shit. And I personally would wish he would chill, because he seems like a good dude. Him just being a mention in the Vinesauce thread is good enough- he's Vinesauce adjacent like Jerma (and more importantly Jerma's fans) are.
 
It really blows that the fullsauce channel is still being fucked over like that. While I don't care about Monster train or Command and conquer, even those types of games are nice to have him talk over as background noise.

One can still watch past streams on Twitch itself. I myself prefer to do that, since streams without luls and pogchamps are like sitcoms without background laughter. Perfectly watchable, but give you feeling that something you used to is missing.

Yeah it's true that I can just go to the vods. It'd just take a little bit more effort cause with youtube I can just plonk the videos in the watch later playlist and have it go automatically without manually having to skip past brbs.

While that works, I listen to fullsauce from my phone at work and Twicth on mobile browser doesn't let you change you quality of anything and it's a giant pain in the ass. I'd rather just watch old playlists.
 
I often wonder if options for archiving have been considered in case things go tits up. Could've sworn I heard that Vin saves the streams on a bunch of drives, but I wouldn't be surprised if John Fullsauce has a lot saved too.
 
those must be some big nigger hard drives if they archive that shit in HD. As an aside I usually listen to videos in 240p and when youtube auto-sets to 480p I mistake it for HD. Y'all aint need 1080p of a silly pizza dude playin vidya.

Is the Fullsauce channel actually monetised? I got it into my head that it wasn't, so it would make sense to build up some sort of off-site archive, considering how many times Vinny & Joel have been fucked to varying extents by Youtube moderation.

If nothing else, it'll be nice when John Fullsauce catches up and we get the past VODs dumped, I've been watching other channels because Twitch's site is still utter shit for watching VODs

I thought, whether a video was monetised or not, you'd get some ads at times, the amount just depended on the channel itself? But that might be old information. Either way, with what Vinny has said in the past about his financial stability, I have to wonder if he makes that much from it. The main Vincesauce Channel probably does though.

We've talked about this like 50 pages ago, but I'm quite sure Vinny's fine financially. He got Twitch bucks, the deal with that media company hence why he's at cons so much, vinyl sales from the fangirls/boys buying his music and inherited property from his aunt that he's renting out.
 
I kinda liked his Gloomwood's stream, though now I would like if he play the original doom. or R-Type Final.

It's amazing to see that they're all going strong after all these years,lol.
