It was brain–frying to see him play Doom Eternal on "Hurt Me Plenty" and even failing to do good at that. The amount of self–pity in that stream was unbearable. There was a more recent moment where he got fed up with Rusty Bucket Bay's level design in Banjo–Kazooie; He decided to take out his frustrations on his mods, who were getting on his ass for his "stop the gameplay for a long while to rant about something he found on the Internet" style of streaming.















I heard from a friend that he's had a history with drugs. I heavily doubt that claim, but at the same time I wouldn't be too surprised if it were true.

Hearing him rant about his mods while the whacky banjo kazooie music plays in the background is pretty funny.

His streams are so bizarre and dramatic. Covers topics Vinny avoids like politics and porn (and furry/anime), but whines over small things while being bad at games. Reminds me of DSP.
 
Though I doubt Mike would troon out ( :optimistic:?) Do you think his relationship with Vinny will change if he somehow decided to?

When he said he "works hard" ...was that in regards to the stream or the game? Lmao. The Banjo music makes this a lot funnier than it should be. What a weird moment to capture, but thanks for sharing!

Its been nearly two years since they streamed together, so I'd assume some level of petty squabble happened between them. I don't really tune in to Mike's stuff as much as I did when he was M6000W, but saying he's pandering to his audience is a massive understatement. One of my first few posts in this thread brings up that topic as well, around the 45 page mark. It sucks because Mike was genuinely pretty funny to listen to and his ad-free radio schtick was actually chill to listen to, but he definitely lost his touch.

If anyone tunes in to Mike's current stuff and/or has watched his streams in recent months, has he mentioned anything about Red Vox? I notice the twitter account doesn't really include him in photos and it feels more like Vinny's ego project than an actual band account lol.

I find this kind of funny because he actually played a Pedophile on workaholics. Rip Vin though.

I haven't paid attention to his current stuff outside of him and Rev playing Terraria, but he did mention putting down a drum track on a Red Vox song during one of the Terraria streams, where they were going to use a drum machine on the track. On one hand you can read that as Vinny and Joe(?) using a drum machine, on the other they still let Mike drum when he has a track to add.

I can definitely hear some bitterness in the more recent Terraria streams. Granted chat convinced them to spend 5 streams fishing trying to skip tiers, but Mike's been a little more antagonistic to chat to me. Not bad enough to keep me from watching the Terraria streams though.

Mike's always been best when he has other streamers to play off of, especially Rev or Fredrick Knudsen (Down the Rabbit Hole). Knudsen & Mike's podcast together is great when they actually do it, and their streams were pretty good. Low key chill and angry high-energy play well off each other, and the Terraria stream where the three of them talked about the carpet sample fursuit guy was gold.
 
I could have sworn I heard about Mike having serious back problems that have impeded him from playing the drums like he used to, which is probably why he seems phased out of Red Vox. I could be mistaken, I don't watch Mike very often, but I feel like I heard that before.
 
Yeah- he's talked about it a lot. He has serious back problems and has talked about in length about how he can't play drums like he used to. He's kind of progressively becoming more angry and loony but the dude IS going through a lot of physical shit.

Also, the drugs thing is entirely believable due to the fact Gambi exists and is a recurring personality when it comes to heavy drug use.
 
Personally I just avoid Mike...

Ironically, he also played a sexual predator who targets teenage girls in You season two. Now he's accused of the exact same thing.

The whole situation is confusing. First girl to come forward has "girlpower" in her account name and seems to enjoy the publicity. The screenshots of him asking a 16 year old to meet up to "make out" can't be denied tho. He denies ever willingly communicating with underage girls. But now there are also more outrageous stories like "I worked at a hotel, Chris ordered me up to his room and showed me his peepee."

Either way, he's fucked. RIP Vin and RIP Chris's career.
 
Who’s betting Vinny won’t play Last of Us 2, I wouldn’t be surprised if he scoped it out and noped the shit out of it.

Was he even interested? I don't see the first game on Fullsauce and I don't recall him ever being hyped for the sequel.
