I really like Vinny's G-mod stuff

"Is being homeless illegal?" "Yes." "They tried to molest me." "He told me he was going to suck my dick." and then when he goes into angry dad mode and says "my retarded son"

In a good faith effort to get this thread back on track, anybody have any favorite clips from early-mid vinesauce? I missed a lot of that era due to life n thangs.
One of my favorites sadly doesn't exist anymore unless someone has it archived, but if anyone remembers it Joel's channel used to have an old Ralph Bluetawn video where Vinny walked up to a woman, told her he could see her vagina, and then flew away. It sucks because it was a really short clip that could have been mirrored to another site easily but it was taken down a few years ago for apparently violating Youtube's TOS, and I'm not sure Joel or anyone else has reuploaded it since then.

As for ones that do still exist, Dem fucking with Vinny in Mario Kart is always a good time. On that same channel there are also a bunch of death reels from various Mario games where Vinny abuses his throat to make ungodly noises. Go through the whole channel, its full of good old stuff.

Does anyone here really enjoy some of Joel and Vinny's music, Vinny is a bit hit or miss for me, but Joel's shit has some really good chops.
Idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I think Joel has better musical skills than Vinny. Both are great, but it genuinely amazes me how Joel can take a dumb joke and make it into a complete banger while also making great non-meme music.

Basically Beef Zone 1&2 > Blood Bagel

I really, really appreciate Joel's ability as a composer and it does not surprise me one bit that record labels approached him. His style is like 90s Korn meets Necrofilth, which is ironic considering he made so much fun of bands like that. I'll be honest though, for metal his voice isn't great. But instrumentially he really has insane potential.

Vinny... Well... Red Vox doesn't do it for me. Their serious albums sound like Vinny listened to Nirvana's Nevermind all night and then had to come up with riffs and lyrics the next morning. I mean come on, his song there she goes in the morning and Kurt's version of here she comes now are basically identical. His singing voice doesn't do it for me either, it's like when you go eat at a local burger place and the owner allowed a teen band to perform inside his restaurant because his son is their guitarist. I can dig his vomit in the ballpit/blood bagel album though. Sounds like Alice in Chains made a shitpost album lmao.

Edit: wow we're almost at 100 pages. Considering I replied to this thread at page 19 last year it's impressive considering it existed for so long before but never was too up to date.

I'll agree with most people in this thread and say I find Vinny's music to be a little corny and Joel's to be legitimately very impressive. Joel is incredibly musically-inclined and his uncanny ability to throw together a song out of absolutely nothing is amazing. Both Joel's parody music and his serious music are pretty good.

That being said my favorite album of Joel's has still gotta be the Great Value Ghostbusters album.

Well damn, am i the only one here that genuinely enjoys Vinny's music? lol
I admit it took a few relistenings to not think about Vinesauce and take RedVox seriously but eventually it really grew on me and I actually really loved their last album Kerosene.
But I do ultimately agree that Joel is the better musician.

Both of them are pretty good musicians in their own right, but Joel definitely has much more of an understanding of everything compared to Vin.
Joels music aligns more with my musical tastes. I actually sent him an email to talk about music since he realizes most of the people watching don't know shit, but I forgot to put a subject so i'm assuming it went to spam. RIP

I like a few of Vins songs pre RV and RV. Davey's Grey - All in one day is super good. Trolls and Goblins is a good one as well.
The first actual Red Vox album is good for the first 5 songs. Atom Bomb is super rad with the synth but nothing that really sticks out as amazing to me.

Scoot the Burbs is probably the best song Vinny has ever made though.

I'm a fan of Vinny's music. I said before that all the stuff of "Another Light" was really good, I'm looking forward to more music from him, and I have a bit more musically in common with him than I do Joel personally (then again I also listen to a lot of the music Joel likes to rib at in streams too skunga dunga numetal stuff so can I really be an arbiter of taste here) but out of the two Joel is the better musician and you can see it even in jokey streams where he pulls up his music programs and shits out a song in minutes (which frankly are my favorite Joel streams).

Think my favorites have been Joel's windows destruction streams and Vinnie's old corruptions streams before he pinpointed and just shoved a randomizer on and saw how it went.

One of favorites in very recent years, (can’t find a clip of it, sorry), is when during a BRB Joel did a Steve Austin breaks in bit and actually broke glass, not only 10 minutes later in a half panic he stepped on it. Also, his LEGO Star Wars stream has to be one of my all time top Joel streams.

Edit: Also isn’t charity coming up, how many of the incentives has Joel even done from last years so far?

G-Mod RP was a gem, holy shit.

I'm a big fan of Vinny's Mario Kart 8/Mario Kart 8 Deluxe clips, they're funny in a schadenfreude way. Vinny suffers and the game seems to have it out for him in particular, giving him mushrooms/triple mushrooms even when he's in the lower places and could really use an item like a star or a bullet bill.

But it's not all failure and suffering, at around the 10:30 moment here he has great item luck (including dodging the lightning because he had star invincibility) and wins the race.

This is also a good one, near the beginning he ruins Joel's day and he is pissed

I remember that! "Joel I swear to god I did not throw that blue shell that fucked you over" "...I will fucking skull fuck you."

Vinny, Mike I love you and respect what you're doing -- But Vinny sounds a hell of a lot like the garage bands I used to hang out with as a child and teenager and it's feels odd with how similar sounding Vinny is to the lead singers I met in the day. Some of Red Vox's singles are great esp. Trolls and Goblins.

Mike's drumming needs more open time, sometimes I forget he's there. I also know there's another band member, the Bassist(?), he's needs some prime time too I think.

still waiting for that 24 hr DF stream JOEL.

Then he better not let any more viewers in (mods only) but here comes the ship art. Think he will sell TwitterThot cat for real money him like Vinny would have?

I'm pretty glad Joel posted those GTA 3 Vods. I love watching then. He's pretty lowkey and it feels like a one man podcast in those. I love it. I'm kinda curious if Vincent Vinesauce will ever consider playing one of the classic GTA games like San Andreas or Vice City again.
